Yongcheng Vocational College Introduction Yongcheng Vocational College is a public full-time higher vocational college approved by the Henan Provincial People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education. The predecessor of the College is Yongcheng Normal School, which was founded in 1956. After several renaming, Yongcheng Vocational College was established with the approval of Henan Provincial People's Government in May 2004. The college is the construction unit of "Henan Vocational Education Brand Demonstration College", "Henan Key Vocational College Construction Project" and "Henan Characteristic Vocational College Construction Plan". The college has 10 departments, including mechanical and electrical engineering department, culture and art department, economy and trade department, electronic and information engineering department and mining engineering department. Set up 40 majors such as mechatronics technology, automobile inspection and maintenance technology, preschool education, music, accounting, aviation service, urban rail transit operation and management, and construction engineering technology. Among them, the major of mining electromechanical metallurgy technology is the construction point of Henan Province. Mine ventilation and safety specialty is a "comprehensive specialty reform pilot" project in colleges and universities in Henan Province, and electromechanical integration technology specialty is the construction point of characteristic specialty in colleges and universities in Henan Province.
