Official organization of the Alumni Association: The officially organized Alumni Association can be organized at the expense of the school, with the purpose of reuniting all previous graduates and contributing to the development of the school, including helping to develop the status of old classmates in society, and finally giving back to the alma mater. During the Japanese occupation of Taiwan Province Province, the Taiwan Province Alumni Association was mostly presided over by the president, and it was only after 1920s that it gradually transformed into a democratic election, allowing students to freely recommend alumni.

20% citation rate of faculty papers: a measure of research influence, which is obtained by dividing the total number of citations of university research papers by the number of faculty members in the school within five years.

Teacher-student ratio of 20%: represents the teaching scale, which is obtained by dividing the number of students by the number of teachers, so that the global student community can refer to the class size of the selected university. The proportion of international teachers is 5%: one of the two internationalization indicators of QS, which measures the proportion of non-national teachers in universities.
