Introduction of Yulin Yuyang Airport?

Yulin Yuyang Airport is a 4C civil regional airport in Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, the second largest airport in Shaanxi Province, and the fastest growing regional airport in China in 2009. Yulin Airport was relocated twice. On April 10, 2008, the airport moved to the current site of Yulin Mayor Hanjie Airport, and the new airport was officially opened to traffic. After the relocation of the airport, Yulin Airport has developed rapidly, and the passenger and cargo throughput is increasing day by day. On February 8, 20 12, the passenger throughput of Yulin Airport broke through100000 that year, making it the second regional airport in five northwest provinces to break through100000 (the first one in northwest China broke through 65438+).

Airport history

Yulin airport has been relocated twice, and the earliest air transportation was limited to military use. 1in the spring of 934 (in the 23rd year of the Republic of China), the 84th Division of the National Army built a military airstrip in Dongmentan, Suide County. 1936 (in the 25th year of the Republic of China), airstrips were built in the east of Yan 'an, the southern suburb of Yulin, Fugu and Jingbian Liangzhen, but Fugu and Liangzhen were never put into use. Sui, Yan and Yu airports are not used frequently, and only a few party, government and army dignitaries take off and land by special plane or military plane. Yulin Nanjiao Airport 1946 was expanded, and it is still military. 1959 Xi' an-Yulin civil aviation was opened, and the southern suburb airport of Yulin was used. Only Anyi-2 small plane is used, and each class has only 12 passengers. Yulin Xisha Airport was built in 1986, located in the urban area of Yulin City, and is a civil regional airport. After 2000, Yulin city has developed rapidly, and Yulin Xisha Airport has been surrounded by urban buildings. The existence of the airport restricts the development of the city, and the development of the city affects the flight safety of the airport. At the same time, with the rapid rise of energy and chemical base in northern Shaanxi, Yulin has become a hot spot for investment and development at home and abroad. Xisha airport is small in scale and low in grade, which cannot meet the rapid growth of passengers.

Yulin new airport started construction in June 5438+February 2005. Changhan Street, located about 15.5 km northwest of Yulin City, is a civil regional airport. At 9: 30 am on April 10, 2008, Yulin Yuyang Airport, which took more than two years to build, officially opened to traffic and ushered in its maiden voyage. The old airport was permanently closed that day and all flights were transferred to the new airport.

Yulin Yuyang Airport Terminal

Airport profile

Yulin Yuyang Airport was built in June 5438+February, 2005, and officially opened to traffic on April 2008 10. On the same day, Yulin Xisha Airport, which has been in service for nearly 20 years and its equipment is aging, seriously affecting the development of the city, was officially closed, and all its business was transferred to Yulin Yuyang Airport. The airport project is estimated to have a total investment of 446.48 million yuan, which is a 4C-class civil feeder airport. The airport runway is 2800 meters long and 45 meters wide, which can meet the take-off and landing of Boeing 737 and Airbus 32 1 and below. The building area of the terminal building is 1064 1 m2, with 5 boarding gates and 3 covered bridges. The designed annual passenger throughput is 350,000 passengers and the New Year mail volume is 900 tons. In 2009, the second year after the airport was put into use, the passenger throughput and cargo and mail volume exceeded the design value, and Yulin Airport started the second phase expansion project.

Airport expansion

Necessity

The passenger flow of Yuyang Airport increased from 238,000 passengers in 2008 to 650,000 passengers in 2009, and the passenger throughput reached 900,000 passengers in 2065,438+00, ranking 53rd among airports in China and becoming the fastest growing airport among regional airports.

The design capacity of the terminal used in the airport is: by 20 15, the passenger throughput will reach 350,000 passengers per year, and the passenger throughput will reach 350 passengers during peak hours. However, Yulin's economy and society have developed rapidly, and the airport has exceeded the design capacity in the second year after its relocation. The existing terminal building can no longer meet the needs of future development, and the facilities such as station apron, parking lot, freight area, living facilities and catering are too small to meet the rapid growth of airport passenger throughput. It is urgent to expand the airport to meet the increasing demand of passenger throughput.

On June 4th, 2009, Secretary of Yulin Municipal Party Committee and Mayor met with He and his party, the chairman of West Airport Group Co., Ltd. in Yulin. The two sides reached a consensus through friendly negotiation and decided to start the second phase of Yuyang Airport immediately.

Extended progress

On February 5th, 2065438+0165438, China Civil Aviation Engineering Consulting Company organized experts to hold a review meeting on the master plan of Yulin Yuyang Airport, which successfully passed the review of the Master Plan of Yulin Yuyang Civil Airport (Version 20 10). According to the plan, Yulin Airport will be rebuilt and expanded according to domestic trunk lines and medium-sized airports. Plan the route from Yulin to Hong Kong and Macao, and plan the international route from Yulin to Japan and South Korea in the long term. According to the master plan, the new area of Yuyang Airport covers an area of 1228 10 square meter, including a new terminal building of 55,000 square meters, which will be rebuilt according to the annual passenger throughput of 5 million people and the annual postal service of 654.38+10000 tons. The long-term planning target is an annual passenger throughput of 20 million passengers, two 3,200m runways and a 220,000m2 terminal. Upon completion, Yuyang Airport will become the second largest airport in Shaanxi.
