600g/1lb5at steak, cut into pieces.
280g/ 10 Angkor kidney, cut into neat slices.
125g/4 angstrom flour.
Salt and pepper in moderation.
An onion, peeled and chopped.
A spoonful of fresh coriander, chopped.
Half a spoonful of tomato sauce.
50ml/5fl Angus beef soup.
225g/8oz Angel Melaleuca Cake.
An egg, broken.
working methods
1. Bake in the oven of 220C/425F/Gas 7.
2. Put the steak and kidney in a bowl, add flour, salt and pepper and mix well.
3. Put the onion, meat and coriander into the pie plate and wrap it.
4. Add tomato sauce, broth and water to a half bowl.
5. Cut the Melaleuca cake into 2mm/ 1/8in thickness for making pies.
6. Brush the bowl edge with water, connect the Melaleuca cake with the bowl edge, and leave a hole of 1 cm in the middle.
7. Cool the pie for 10 minute, brush the eggs on the skin and bake in the oven for 30 minutes until the pie skin turns golden and bulges. Then set the oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4, and bake for 90 minutes until the patties become crisp. If it is too dry, you can add some oil.
