Freshmen's summer social practice report is 3000 words.

Freshmen's summer social practice report is 3000 words.

As contemporary college students, social practice is particularly important. Only by fully exercising ourselves in society can we mature ourselves in practical work and feel the challenges of the future society in labor. Only in this way can we, the so-called favored children who are pampered in the university, study and live more seriously in the face of challenges and experiences and lay a good foundation for the future. Of course, social practice can also obtain some extra economic sources for us more or less, so as to buy the learning and living utensils we need.

This summer vacation of my freshman year, my sister and I came to Xiamen to work together, hoping to find a summer job. Before I went, I was full of pride and arrogance: anyway, I am also a member of West University and a key college student, so it should not be too difficult to find a summer job! But when I arrived in Xiamen, I found that I greatly overestimated myself. It's not as simple as I thought. Here are some problems I encountered:

First, the competition is fierce.

Xiamen itself has some universities such as Xiamen University and Xiamen Institute of Technology. Xiamen University, in particular, enjoys a high reputation at home and abroad, so I, a person from the west, have almost no chance of success in the face of them. Except Xiamen University, other schools should be inferior to our Western University, but I will still be defeated. There is a simple reason. Minnan is commonly used in Xiamen, and local college students can understand it even if they can't speak it. And I am a complete dialect idiot. I can't even understand the simplest Chongqing dialect. How can I understand Minnan dialect? Although I also think it sounds good.

2. Those who fail to recruit summer jobs or have incomplete or incomplete documents.

I have been to many fast food restaurants that need to know English, such as Starbucks, McDonald's, KFC, Texaco and so on. But I found that they had already recruited a group of people in Xiamen University before the holiday. I didn't even get an interview. I can only blame myself. In addition, many hotel restaurants do not recruit summer jobs, which can only blame themselves for not asking my sister's specific situation in advance. I tried to apply for a job by hiding my student status. Later, I found that I couldn't, because the documents were incomplete: health certificate, temporary residence permit, unmarried certificate and so on. Don't say yes, I haven't heard of some.

Third, lack of work experience.

I once went to a large Internet cafe to apply for network management. The competitor is a junior high school student, aged 17. The boss is very satisfied with me, and I also think this job is necessary. But the boss asked me about my work experience, and I only had the experience of working in a bamboo and wood processing factory and being a tutor. The contestants all help in the mala Tang restaurant at home. Because of this, the boss finally chose her. The reason is: Internet cafes are crowded and chaotic places, and you have to meet different people. This requires good adaptability and the ability to deal with special people, which cannot be obtained through training. And I'm a college student, and I don't have much contact with things, so I'm not qualified. What I lack is what the other person has.

These are all the problems I encountered when I applied for a job in the service industry. Since I have failed here, I will try my luck elsewhere. Unexpectedly, luck still didn't patronize me. First go to Guanghui Technology Co., Ltd. to apply for a clerk .. After passing the written test, it is an interview. When it was going well, the other party suddenly asked, since English is so important to your major, why didn't you take CET-4 in your freshman year? Can you tell us why? I was dizzy. This question really caught me off guard. I know, it doesn't matter if I fail the English exam. The important thing is that I don't even qualify for the English exam. I almost ran away after I explained it truthfully.

The other time is to apply for the operator of Huayun Software Company. When I heard about the software company, I thought it must have something to do with computers. It shouldn't be that simple. I didn't expect the other party to hear that I am a college student, know English and specialize in Mandarin. If I get the treasure, I will pass the interview with almost no difficulty. Next, he asked to sign a contract with me. I immediately became alert. I propose to try it for one day first. They had no choice but to let me go to work the next afternoon to get familiar with the environment. I was disappointed when I borrowed my blue work clothes and arrived at my work place. What do you do in a software company? It's just soliciting customers for some nightclubs. Just not face to face, but by phone. Originally, the company operated a number of nightclubs, dance halls, bars and other entertainment places in Taiwan Province Province. What our operators do is to call the young men in Taiwan Province Province and let them use your "personal language charm" to spend in our company, and get a commission per head. Most people on the phone are not serious mixed people. What is this job? In the process of "getting familiar with work", I almost threw up when I watched girls of the same age address unknown men in various tones (some even vulgar), trying to get them to take the bait. I can't be so coquettish, and I can't do this job as a college student. I am arrogant, maybe I am arrogant, but I ran away that day.

In desperation, my sister asked me to work in a clothing factory. As long as I work hard, I am definitely suitable to come from the countryside. However, because the factory is outside the island, it doesn't include food and accommodation. After working for two days, I found that I have to pay back almost everything except the round-trip fare and meals. So I gave up. At this time, my cold and complications caused by acclimatization became more and more serious. One day my parents asked me to go home to help, so I went home because there was no suitable job. Anyway, although the busy farming season has passed at home, the tuition fees of my brothers and sisters for the new semester have not yet been settled, so I may be able to help when I go home.

This is my experience in finding a job in Xiamen, although it ended in failure. However, for me, it is still an indelible experience and an indispensable wealth.

First of all, when I was looking for a job, I was basically completely integrated into this society. My sister is just a migrant worker. I can't help you except to show the way and provide accommodation. I found it myself. For the first time, I realized the feeling of being rejected again and again or even being rejected, dragging my sick body down the street in the hot sun overhead. I began to think about life and survival. Although I used to know that it was not easy to be poor at home, I should cherish the hard-won learning opportunities. But the reality I have to face when I grow up is far more cruel than I thought. I have always been a self-righteous college student, but I was so casually glanced at and then scoffed. I am helpless, but what can I do? Life has taught me a severe lesson: life is not as simple as I thought. Secondly, I also explored some experiences. For us college students, we should learn to observe beforehand, make full preparations and apply in the right place, so as not to waste time and improve the success rate. Don't rush to the hospital, otherwise, you will inevitably be rejected. Third, beware of being deceived. Being on the university campus, we have never experienced the complex society of the cotton team. Always be vigilant. The operator's work is a good example. Of course, the last point is also very important. Is to improve their ability and skill level. We can't get work experience. But things like xx and computer operation ability are indispensable for every college student and can be improved in daily study and life.

Talk about English. Looking for a job in Xiamen gives me an obvious pressure. Those who ask you about your English level don't ask if you have passed CET-4, but if you have passed CET-6. For them (it should be said that they are coastal cities), passing Grade 4 is the most basic, and Grade 6 is only the average level. Only level 6 or above is good. Even people who work have this mentality. My sister is teaching herself TEM-8 English now. One of her sisters, with the support of a company boss, won't live a luxurious life, but she told her boss that she would spend tens of thousands of dollars to study English in Edward, the best English school in Xiamen University. It can be seen that they attach much more importance to English at school than we students. I used to stay away from English, because my English grades have plummeted since my second year in high school, and now I am tired of seeing English. During this trip to Xiamen, I realized the importance of English.

This is my "practical experience" in Xiamen. I know that without the seal of any unit or company, it can't be said to be a qualified practice report. But I'm sure it is a perfect answer sheet for me. If my job search goes well this time, it will do me no good. Isn't it?
