People's Republic of China (PRC) Yearbook is the only comprehensive national yearbook in China approved by the General Office of the State Council and the General Administration of Press and Publication. China Yearbook for short, sponsored by Xinhua News Agency, edited and published by People's Republic of China (PRC). Founded in 198 1, it is published once a year (1999 and 2000 are divided into two volumes). There are two versions in Chinese and English. Distribute to the whole country and the world. The Chinese version of the book title has used the full name "People's Republic of China (PRC) Yearbook" since 17.

The 20 18 edition of China yearbook has 40 categories, including state institutions, national defense, diplomacy and economy, with 365,438 words, and contains 1 12 pictures with historical value. The materials in the book are not only based on the multimedia database of Xinhua News Agency, but also specially contributed by relevant ministries and commissions of the Central Committee and the State Council, and authoritative persons of the people's governments of all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government.
