Experience of nurses' night shift

Nurse night shift experience template

After we are inspired by some things, writing an article and recording it will help cultivate our habit of thinking. So what are the characteristics of a good experience? The following is a template of nurses' night shift experience that I compiled. Welcome to read the collection.

Nurse night shift experience template 1 end of two-week internship. Although two weeks is very short, we have seen a lot in this short time. Here are some experiences.

1, actually, the profession of nurse is very tiring. There are more than a dozen nurses in a department, but they have to take care of sixty or seventy patients. I have to go to work after 7 o'clock in the morning, and I have to hold an early meeting to observe the patient's situation, clean up the patients who need intramuscular injection and subcutaneous injection today, take temperature, take blood pressure, prepare medicine, give injections, infusion and change medicine. There is no rest time at all, it's all at two o'clock and one line, the ward treatment room. There's not even a place we want to sit. There are only four stools in the nurse station, all of which are used by nurses when writing medical records. Sometimes when they write medical records, they still write standing up without stools. When the patient needs anything, we should go to the ward at once. The infusion tube sucks in air and discharges it. If the liquid doesn't leave, we will deal with it. When the liquid is lost, we must replace the liquid or pull out the needle. When a new patient comes to the emergency department, it is necessary to immediately measure the patient's temperature, blood pressure, blood drawing, ECG monitoring and oxygen inhalation, and establish a medical record for admission. All I see in the hospital are busy nurses. My foot hurts badly on the second day of my internship, and now my foot hurts.

2. Be careful when practicing medicine. Three inspections and seven inspections are very important when distributing injections and infusions. Check the patient's name, bedside card, drug name, usage, concentration and dosage before, during and after operation. The concept of infertility should be strong. Wear a mask when dispensing, change needles for contamination, and wear mask gloves for aseptic operation. In order to prevent cross-infection of drugs, many things in the hospital are disposable. If they are used once, they will be lost. If they are polluted when not in use, they will be lost. So every day I see a lot of needles, infusion tubes, syringes and infusion bottles in the sorting trash can.

3, but also love and compassion, patients come to see a doctor, the torture of disease is very painful. Patients are our customers and our gods, so we should be kind to them, even if they are emotional. However, it is best not to quarrel with unreasonable patients' families. If the patient does not cooperate with us, please ask the teacher to deal with it. Such people can't figure it out, and eventually they will lose themselves and be scolded by the head nurse.

I hope everyone can put themselves in each other's shoes. We nurses should think from the patient's point of view, and so should the patient's family members. The patient is in pain, and the family members are worried and anxious. We are all doing our best. As soon as something happens, we will step up and get to the ward at once. We care for so many patients, and sometimes we encounter several patients changing fluids at the same time, or something happens, so sometimes we can't deal with it immediately, so we put the important and urgent things first. Some patients don't understand, alas!

5. Pay attention to speed, technology and quality, and have a clear division of labor, especially to rescue patients. Someone asked me before what is the difference between our undergraduate nursing and technical secondary nursing, and I said I could get into a good hospital! And why do big hospitals want us? Just like what kind of people match what kind of clothes. After two weeks' probation, I know that undergraduate nurses are just better than technical secondary school nurses in quality and theoretical knowledge, while clinical nurses start from scratch, just like them. Moreover, we have to study again after clinical work, so don't think that we are undergraduates, just like technical secondary schools, but we have spent several years more youth than them, so we should be stronger, ask more questions and study more if we don't know anything.

6. No matter where you are, you should handle the relationship well. Relationships are important. Only when you have a good relationship will others be willing to teach you. But in our line of work, it is not enough to just pay lip service, that is, people should be diligent and run more errands, which is good for themselves, but don't run around, we should choose and employ people. Some people love to boss people around, and they have to take whatever they can. It's not that you can't get a lot of things in your hand, and you can't teach anything else.

7. Take the initiative to talk to the patient when taking blood pressure, temperature and infusion. First of all, we care about patients. Second, it depends on whether they are as conscious as yesterday or before. When I was an intern, I met an old woman who was very talkative before the meeting, but one afternoon when I went to take my blood pressure, I stopped talking. I have to tell the head nurse about this. At night, her hemoglobin is too low. It's usually after twelve, and she's only after five. The doctor quickly ordered a blood transfusion for her and didn't recover until the next day. Also, when we take the patient's temperature, blood pressure and blood sugar, if we find it too low or too high, we should report it to the doctor immediately.

8. Some people look down on our nursing profession. I just want to say that every profession is divided into high and low, not poor and low. Although our status is not as high as that of doctors, there is nothing wrong with doctors as long as we are willing to do it. I can say that I am a nurse now, and I am also a member of society.

9, in fact, beauty is still very beneficial, even in hospitals, you are a beautiful woman, patients are willing to ask you for an injection, even if the needle is not accurate, they say nothing to fight! This is also the benefit of beauty! So there are many beautiful women among nurses. Hey! Like us, it is the lower level inside, so we still need to practice the technology better, and many patients are deeply involved.

10, don't talk nonsense in the hospital, don't know, don't pretend to understand. Be sure of some uncertain things, don't give some uncertain answers to patients' families, but give clear answers. Learn to protect yourself.

1 1. You can only go to other departments and learn something when you are on probation, but there is no time for you to walk around after the internship.

12. During my internship, I met all the patients' families, some were good for the patients, some were bad for the patients, some were good for our nurses, and some were bad for us. There is a patient in her seventies whose son takes care of her every day. Her son looks over 60 years old and his family is poor, but the patient needs blood transfusion. Her son draws blood from his mother twice a week. It usually takes more than four months to donate blood again. Sometimes I feel very sad when I see it, and I advise my family to buy some sugar to make up for myself, but he says sugar is too expensive. I also met a family member. The patient was unconscious, but the family asked us to do ECG monitoring. Sometimes I think sending patients to the hospital is to cure diseases! But some family members just don't understand. Is it superficial filial piety to send a patient to the hospital?

13. In the hospital, I saw the patient's painful expression. We normal people sometimes feel cold, bloated, painful and tingling when measuring blood pressure or blood sugar, but patients no longer feel pain. Every day when other nurses give the patient injections and infusions, the patient just grits his teeth. So I think they are very strong.

14. In internal medicine, we can see the death of patients every day, and feel that human life is fragile, so we should cherish the life in front of us. Happiness is a day, so is unhappiness. Why not live happily every day? There are still some things that you can only cherish if you lose them. You should spend more time with your parents at home. Older people are also afraid of loneliness.

When it comes to nurses, Asians have different views on this profession. In the eyes of China people, it is regarded as a humble job of taking injections and taking medicine to serve the people, but in the eyes of Filipinos, it is proud and noble. Grassroots people in Philippine countries are proud of exporting labor services to their own nationals. Not to mention the number of Filipino maids in the world, but Filipino nurses in American hospitals account for more than 60%. Nowadays, in America, job hunting is not optimistic. Many people think that being a nurse is a stable job with high income. More and more parents in China encourage their children to study as nurses. Based on a doctor from China's personal experience as a nurse in an American hospital, I have great respect and unforgettable feelings for the endless ups and downs of nurses' professional desires. I will share with you what it is like to be a nurse in the United States. As a nurse's experience and comprehensive quality, give some basic understanding and psychological preparation.

The falling angel broke his wings and struggled a few times. It is purely accidental to invest in nursing and enter nursing. To tell you the truth, I didn't like nurses before. In the late clinical stage of my senior year, I saw that the boys in my class were flattered by the little nurse's aunt, and all of them were gentle and considerate and wished they were all doctors' wives. I thought I liked doctors very much. Why didn't I study medicine myself? If my Mr. Pig hadn't developed an affinity for her land as soon as he arrived in the United States, let me look at the RN shortcut curve and vote for the country, I wouldn't have so many unforgettable memories of the "nurse".

Today, with my nearly 20 years' working experience in American hospitals and following the operation of American medical system, the image of nurses as independent, competent, gentle and dedicated and full of spirituality has been completely refreshed in my mind.

How time flies! In a blink of an eye, we are about to end our orthopedic practice. Looking back on these days, I believe everyone has a taste of their own in their hearts. Nearly a month's orthopedic practice has made me know more about myself and my clinic, and I have benefited a lot from it.

The third department of orthopedics is the first department in my clinic, which is completely different from the first department of anesthesiology in terms of working methods, working contents and working hours. I was very confused when I first came to orthopedics, and I needed teachers to teach me everything. On the first day, I was in the remedial class and didn't know what to do. I follow the teacher, and I will do whatever the teacher says I want. I dare not do what I don't understand until the teacher teaches me. The first operation in plastic surgery is dispensing medicine. I have only been trained in school before, and I have never really operated it. I was afraid of mistakes and pollution when I first filled the medicine, and my hands would shake. Under the guidance of the teacher, after many exercises, I was finally able to operate smoothly, but I was not very skilled.

The configuration of penicillin skin test solution is very common in hospitals. When patients first enter the hospital, they should know whether they are allergic to penicillin, which is convenient for later medication, but the most important thing is for the safety of patients. I watched the teacher's operation several times before, and the teacher patiently taught me step by step. After work, I also read books and write down the configuration process one by one. When it was my turn to operate, I was very nervous at first, afraid of taking the wrong dose, and the syringe of 1ml was not easy to operate. Air often appears, and it is difficult to shake it well. After many times of practice, although not particularly skilled, it is not as laborious as it was at first, and the operation is more standardized. I believe I will do better in my future work.

Because there are many auxiliary courses, there are few clinical treatments, but we also know the relevant clinical operations. Teachers always patiently explain the operation process to me, pay attention to matters, and patiently correct me when there are mistakes and irregularities. This month, I learned intravenous infusion, skin test, intramuscular injection, skin traction, blood collection, perineal scrubbing and bladder irrigation; Understand how to indwelling catheter and the basic functions of some oral drugs and intravenous drugs; To understand some nursing contents and education of patients before and after operation.

It is very important to communicate with patients in clinic, but some questions raised by patients are not always answered because of their inexperience. They often ask the teacher and then go back to tell the patients. What is even more distressing is that patients are often embarrassed to explain to them that they don't understand Minnan. In a word, I have learned a lot and seen a lot during this month in orthopedics. Know how to carry out relevant nursing work before and after operation, how to carry out health education for patients, learn the work contents of different shifts, and master relevant clinical operations. Although the internship life is tense and the work is complicated, I believe I will stick to it and try my best to do everything well in clinic.

Nurse night shift experience template 4 White clouds float, legend is trapped in the past, fallen leaves sleep on the earth, and a hope is born. In the winter of 20xx, this is my first winter vacation when I entered Normal University. The beautiful Normal University carries my dream-to be a glorious white soldier. The meaning of life is defined by myself. In order to recharge my medical knowledge, and not all textbooks can give me the internship process, I came to Xincheng Red Cross Hospital (formerly Bamao Staff Hospital) for an internship during the short winter vacation.

As a student with only half a year's medical experience, I should start with the most basic nursing work in the hospital. When I came to the hospital, I felt fresh and afraid of everything, even though I was a patient here.

In the mirror, I wear a clean white coat, a white hat and a mask. Think about the pride of wearing a white coat for the first time, and the firmness and confidence in my heart are still there!

The seemingly simple nursing work made me start to be in a hurry. The original confidence is gone. I began to learn from the nurses with an open mind, followed by the young nurses patiently explaining the nursing knowledge to me. Slowly, I shuttled through various wards to understand their nursing terms and some daily work.

I assisted the nurses in receiving patients, made four tests (blood pressure, body temperature, pulse and weight), mastered the methods of measuring blood pressure and body temperature, contacted the liquid preparation link, and strictly observed the "three checks and seven pairs" (three checks: preoperative check, intraoperative check and postoperative check; Seven pairs: according to the principles of bed number, name, drug name, concentration, dosage, method and time, prepare liquid medicine for patients.

Finally, I had a chance to practice, thinking about the operation essentials that the nurse told me, and came to the ward with a vessel full of tourniquet, adhesive tape and iodine. Smiling: "Aunt, it's time for an injection. I put a tourniquet on the patient, disinfected it with iodine, then picked up the needle and carefully plunged it into the patient's blood vessel. Seeing the blood in the tube, a feeling of relief spread all over the body. Unexpectedly, the first needle insertion will be so smooth when it is flat!

When the nurse was resting, she told me a real case of a patient who died because of a small bubble in an intravenous infusion tube. I was shocked and began to respect these ordinary nurses.

On February 2, 20xx1day, with the consent of the hospital leaders, I observed a case of high ligation and stripping of varicose veins of the left lower extremity! Before the operation, the patient's family looked at the surgeon with expectant eyes, which suddenly made me feel that the doctor's responsibility was great. The operation lasted about two hours. The superb medical skills of surgeons made me understand the importance of basic medical knowledge. He is very careful, taking care of patients just like taking care of his family, just as the physiology teacher once said: Although you are experimenting with animals, you will treat people in the future! Therefore, I deeply realize that we should improve our professional quality. After a short 15 days of hospital practice, I can finally catch my breath. Think about the busyness of so many days, and then think about the nurses who fight every day to know that nursing work is not easy.

I think nursing needs not only skilled skills, but also excellent professional quality:

1, ideological quality: it is necessary to educate and train every nursing staff to love nursing work, devote themselves to nursing career and establish a solid professional ideology; We should have lofty moral quality, noble sentiment and good medical ethics, take Bethune as an example, carry forward the humanitarian spirit of saving lives and practicing revolution: sincere and frank, full of spirit, modest and prudent, serious and responsible; We should have a high degree of organization, discipline and collectivism, unite and cooperate, and cherish collective and public property.

2. Professional quality: nurses should be extremely responsible for patients, sincere, kind and enthusiastic, care for patients, master their psychological characteristics and give meticulous physical and mental care; Strictly implement the rules and regulations, stick to the post, act according to the rules, operate in an orderly way, execute the doctor's advice, concentrate on all operations, be skilled, accurate, safe, timely and excellent; Have keen observation, be good at discovering the change of illness, be calm, witty and flexible when the illness changes suddenly, and be quick, accurate and decisive in rescue; To do a good job in psychological nursing, we need kind language and patient explanation, do targeted ideological work for patients, and enhance our courage and confidence in fighting diseases; Keep clothes neat, dignified, steady, polite, simple and generous; Decent style, equal treatment of patients, serious work.

3. Scientific quality: Nurses should have the spirit of seeking truth from facts, be brave in controlling claims, master the basic theory of this subject carefully, and know the nature and reasons of each nursing technical operation; Nursing is an applied subject, so we must pay attention to accumulate rich clinical experience in practice and master skilled technology and excellent skills. We should study our business assiduously and constantly learn and introduce advanced nursing technology at home and abroad; We should be good at summing up experience, constantly controlling demand, conducting research, being brave in innovation, striving to improve the professional and technical level, and constantly promoting the development of nursing; We should actively learn and understand sociology, psychology, ethics and other knowledge, broaden our knowledge and better serve the physical and mental health of patients.

Similarly, those of us who are about to become dentists should fully realize:

1, a doctor is a very common profession, and his duty is to save lives.

2. Doctors should also have certain ideological quality, professional quality and scientific quality, have a certain sense of responsibility, and regard the patient's life as their own.

3. Doctors should have the ability of innovation and exploration, and actively contribute to the future of medicine.

The new semester has begun, and a new round of absorption and summary of medical knowledge has also begun. I will pay 100% effort: Come on-tell everyone!

How time flies! I walked into xx Hospital in xx City and worked as an orthopedic nurse for half a year. Since graduation, I have been devoted to my study and work with rigorous attitude and positive enthusiasm, with both the joy of success and the bitterness of failure. After clinical contact, I found that I should not only have a solid theory, skilled clinical operation and good professional ethics, but also cultivate my patience and love. The six-month service period is coming to an end, but I will be more strict with myself. I hereby declare the following:

Highly motivated ideologically, brave in criticism and self-criticism, and established a correct outlook on life and values. Can strictly abide by the rules and regulations of the hospital, actively participate in various activities organized by hospitals and departments, respect leaders and unite colleagues.

I am strict with myself in my study. With a strong pursuit of the goal and knowledge of becoming an excellent angels in white, I studied hard, studied hard, had a correct attitude and a clear goal, basically mastered some professional knowledge and operational skills, mastered specialist knowledge and various specialist nursing operations, and integrated theory with practice. In addition to learning professional knowledge, we also pay attention to the expansion of all aspects of knowledge, extensively dabble in other disciplines, and improve ideological and cultural quality.

Actively cooperate with superiors and colleagues at work, correctly implement the doctor's advice and various nursing technical operating procedures, do a good job in basic nursing, and strictly implement aseptic operation and the system of three checks and seven pairs. Find problems, report them in time and solve them in time. I can integrate theory with practice in my work, and I can consult the head nurse and senior teachers in time if I don't understand any questions, so as to improve my professional level. Treat patients with civility and courtesy, behave in a civilized and kind manner, be anxious about patients' worries and think about patients' thoughts. Actively communicate with patients, timely understand the psychological dynamics of patients, so that patients can receive better treatment and do a good job in health education.

In my life, I have developed good living habits, lived a full and orderly life, and managed my daily life with a rigorous and positive attitude. I am warm and generous, honest and trustworthy, ready to help others, and have my own balance principle. I can live in harmony with my colleagues and actively participate in various extracurricular activities, thus constantly enriching my work experience and life.

Put limited life into unlimited medical work. In the future work, I will study harder, make continuous progress, constantly improve my professional and technical level, and make my theoretical knowledge and operational skills by going up one flight of stairs, so as to better serve patients. Strive to be an excellent nursing staff, worthy of the glorious title of angels in white!
