Healthy food source

For China's traditional diet, the ancients vividly described it in a poem:

"If the grain needs to be raised, the beans will lose money."

"Five animals should be good, and excessive is harmful."

"Five dishes are usually stuffed, fresh, green, yellow and red."

"The grain should be helped, and strive for less calculation."

This poem is concise and incisive, and outlines the principles of food collocation in China's traditional diet structure. What does it mean to express one? First of all, it is said that whole grains are very nutritious. "Those who get food prosper, those who lose food die, and those who eat food cure all diseases." Our ancestors chose to eat the seeds of plants to maintain their lives and health, which is very philosophical. However, there is a lack of lysine in whole grains, and the amino acid content in beans is very rich, so the ancients also said that "beans are rotten when they are lost."

Although all kinds of animal foods, such as meat, are beneficial to us, we must eat them in moderation, not in excess. Also, you should choose different colors to eat healthy vegetables. These brightly colored vegetables are rich in chlorophyll, folic acid and various vitamins necessary for human body.

In addition, although eating fruits can help people maintain health, fruits are enjoyable foods and vegetables are survival foods, so fruits cannot completely replace vegetables.

International nutritionists generally believe that China's diet structure is the healthiest and most scientific, and it is also the best diet to prevent civilized diseases. The traditional diet in China is dominated by plant foods, specifically whole grains and beans. 70% of calories and 67% of protein in our daily food come from staple grains, and fresh and rich vegetables are also regarded as non-staple foods. At the same time, eat some fruits, fungi, algae, and a small amount of animal food such as meat.

Vegetable oil is often used in daily cooking, and low-temperature cooking is used, accompanied by fermented foods such as vinegar, soy sauce and bean paste, which consumes less sugar. The daily popular natural beverage is also tea, and it is this diet structure that ensures the reproduction of our nation for 5000 years.

Because our traditional diet structure is not only determined by agricultural civilization, economic development level, population and other factors, but also the wisdom crystallization accumulated by thousands of years of life practice and traditional dietotherapy experience of the Chinese nation, such a healthy diet structure should certainly be worthy of our respect and inheritance.

In daily life, our food can be divided into two categories: acidic food and alkaline food. That is to say, after these foods are eaten by us, are the products produced by metabolism in the body acidic or alkaline? Acidic constitution is the so-called sub-health state, so we must pay attention to the acid-base balance of daily diet.

Like tea, it is an excellent alkaline food, and it is also what we often say: "Seven things to open the door-rice, oil, salt, sauce and vinegar tea". However, many of us don't know how to drink tea every day, which is very wrong. Vegetables, fruits, beans, potatoes and other foods are also alkaline foods.

In addition, we also have a way to adjust the balance in the body: eat more beans, almost all beans are alkaline foods, but only one kind of beans is not: broad beans! Traditional Chinese medicine believes that soybean is sweet, nourishing qi and blood, not cold and not dry, strengthening spleen and promoting digestion, clearing away heat and toxic materials, and has many good health care functions, so soybean is a typical representative of the homology of traditional Chinese medicine and food.
