According to related research, the mobile phone is in the strongest state when it is far away from the base station, and the closer it is to the base station, the lower the power. So the more base stations are built, the lower the power radiation.

According to China's laws, the construction of mobile communication base stations must meet the requirements of Regulations on Protection of Electromagnetic Radiation and Hygienic Standard for Environmental Electromagnetic Waves. It is stipulated that as long as the electric field intensity is less than 0/2 volt per meter/kloc-or the power density is less than 40 microwatts per square centimeter, it will meet the safety standards, even lower than the radiation level of mobile phones and computers, so it will not affect the health of nearby residents. In recent years, China's environmental protection department has repeatedly tested base stations in various places, and the results show that the radiation amount is far below the limit stipulated by the national electromagnetic radiation protection standard.

Professor Li Kaibao, chairman of the Radiation and Protection Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, said that the radiation of the communication base station is very small and will not affect human health, so ordinary people need not worry.
