Green food is the general name of pollution-free, safe and high-quality food in China. It refers to the safe and high-quality edible agricultural products and related products that are produced according to the green food standards in an excellent ecological environment, and the quality control is carried out from the land to the table, and the right to use green food signs is obtained according to the procedures stipulated in the Measures for the Administration of Green Food Signs.

From the perspective of industry development, with the improvement of people's living standards and the change of consumption concept in China, pollution-free and safe green food has become a fashion and is increasingly favored by people. In the future, green food has great development potential at home and abroad.

Products applying for the use of green food marks shall meet the following conditions:

1, which complies with laws and regulations such as People's Republic of China (PRC) Food Safety Law and People's Republic of China (PRC) Agricultural Products Quality Safety Law.

2. The green food mark trademark approved by the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce covers the scope of goods.

3. The environment of the product or raw materials of the product meets the environmental quality standards of the origin of green food.

4. The use of inputs such as pesticides, fertilizers, feeds and veterinary drugs conforms to the guidelines for the use of green food inputs.

5. The product quality meets the quality standard of green food.

6. Packaging, storage and transportation meet the standards of green food packaging, storage and transportation.
