Shanghai No.1 People's Hospital has a hospital and two districts, which are located at No.85 Wujin Road in Shanghai and No.650 Jiang Xinsong Road in Songjiang District, respectively, covering an area of 294,775 square meters. It is a tertiary general hospital and a designated medical insurance unit in Shanghai.
On February 4th, 20 18, 18 was announced by National Health Commission as the first batch of experimental hospitals for multidisciplinary diagnosis and treatment of tumors.

Shanghai General Hospital was founded in March of 1864 and 1, which is one of the earliest comprehensive hospitals in China. 1877, renamed Gong Ji Hospital. 198 1, listed as Shanghai Red Cross Hospital. 1992, taking the lead in becoming the first batch of tertiary general hospitals in China. In 2002, it was named the First People's Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University.
