According to the growth and development, age at first laying and laying performance of parents of Beijing duck, the whole growth period and laying period of Beijing duck are divided into five stages, namely, brooding period (0-3 weeks), growing period (4-8 weeks), breeding period (9-22 weeks), pre-laying period (23-26 weeks) and laying period (27 weeks). Table 16 and table 17 respectively give the data of nutritional requirements of Beijing duck parents in each growth and development stage and laying period. The crude fiber index suggested in the table is the highest limit, and other indexes are the minimum requirements.
