Jiangsu Health Vocational College, located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, is a full-time provincial-level public medical and health college organized by Jiangsu Provincial People's Government. 2015 June 5438+00, was listed as the project construction unit of provincial demonstration higher vocational colleges.
Jiangsu Health Vocational College, formerly known as the National Center Midwifery School, was founded in 1933. It has experienced such historical periods as East China Midwifery School, Nanjing Health School and Jiangsu Staff Medical University.
In 2002, Jiangsu Institute of Medical Information, Jiangsu Health Statistics Center and Jiangsu Health Talent Training Center were merged into Jiangsu Staff Medical University to integrate resources. In 2005, it merged with Jiangsu Traditional Chinese Medicine School to build a higher vocational college. In March 2009, Jiangsu Health Vocational College was formally established. On March 20 17, it was renamed Jiangsu Health Vocational College.
The school has three campuses: Hanzhong Road Campus, Fenghuang West Street Campus and Pukou Campus. The school has four affiliated hospitals, including Jiangsu Provincial Hospital, Nanjing Gaochun People's Hospital, Nanjing Pukou Central Hospital and Jiangsu Folk Rehabilitation Hospital.
