How about drinking tap water for a long time?

Not so good.

Tap water may contain some pathogenic microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, parasites or eggs, and may also contain some chemical components harmful to human body. The disinfection of urban tap water is basically based on residual chlorine. Although bacteria and viruses in water can be removed to a certain extent, drinking water containing residual chlorine for a long time is also harmful to human body to varying degrees.

There are still many people who think that tap water is the best water, which is actually wrong, because tap water has three major hazards:

First, it can't balance the pH of human body;

Secondly, the main disinfectant in the process of tap water production is bleaching powder, which is chloride ion. As early as 1974, American and Dutch scholars discovered that chloroform compounds would be produced during the chlorination of drinking water, and suspected that one of them would cause cancer.

Third, more importantly, because tap water is treated and then sent to our home through pipelines, there are serious secondary pollution such as excessive heavy metals in metal pipelines, which will have a great impact on the human body.

If you want to drink tap water, you should pay attention to the following four points:

(1) The first bucket of tap water flowing out in the morning can be used as domestic water, but it is not suitable for drinking. Because water stays in the tap water pipe for one night, bacteria may multiply in large numbers, and a certain amount of metal elements may be dissolved from the water pipe.

(2) Boil water for 3 minutes. Drinking water that has not been boiled or boiled for too long is not good for your health.

(3) Drinking water can be left for several hours (but not more than one day) before boiling.

(4) Use water purifier products (recommended).
