Why not let the living lie on the lips of the dying?

Living people are not allowed to lie on the lips of dying people for the following reasons:

1. Health and safety: If the living come into direct contact with the saliva of the dying person, they are likely to be infected with various diseases, because the immune system of the dying person can no longer stop the spread of germs. Especially for some infectious diseases, such as influenza and pneumonia, this kind of contact is extremely dangerous.

2. Moral respect: Human beings should respect life, even if it is in a dying state. Lying on a dying person's lips may be considered an act of disrespect.

3. Health problems: The process of human death will produce all kinds of bacteria and germs, which can be spread through the respiratory system and saliva. If the living people come into direct contact with the saliva or other body fluids of the dying people for a long time, they may be infected by these bacteria and germs.

Therefore, for the sake of health and safety, moral respect and hygiene, it is not recommended that the living lie on the lips of the dying person. On the contrary, we should try our best to maintain hygiene, respect the dying and take appropriate medical measures to ensure the comfort and dignity of the dying.
