In Solo Khumbu, men and women of the older generation turn the warp wheel every day. In the morning, when they are at home, before going to bed at night, they will hold the rosary in their left hand and the prayer wheel in their right hand, and then recite "Mom". When they walked around, they continued to turn the warp wheel and recite the buzzing sound. I used to think, "How can the prayer wheel become a practice of Buddhism?" Just because I don't know the benefits of this method, I once had this question in my heart. I didn't know it was such an important exercise and it was so beneficial to network work. As long as you touch or turn the warp wheel, you can bring incredible purification and accumulate incredible merits.
I found many old manuscripts in Laoduo, all of which were copied by Lama Laoduo. The late Lama Lao Duo was called Lama Nishino (Sang Kun), and some people thought he was related to my life. Laoduo Lama has no temple and lives in seclusion in the cave. He spent a lot of energy copying various manuscripts of Vajrayana Buddhism. At that time, such legal books were very rare, so he copied many manuscripts. As these manuscripts are kept in very wet caves, they are all wet. I used to spread them out in the sun to dry. If they are not dried in the sun, the law will be moldy and then destroyed by insects. Worms grow out of French books and drill some interesting holes in them. One day, when I put my French book in the sun, I saw an old French book named Manica. The content includes the evolutionary history of the whole world, including how Buddhism appeared in this world, and how all beings in Tibet in the snowy area became special machines and were influenced by Guanyin, the great compassion Buddha. Amitabha and Guanyin are essentially the same and have a very strong connection with each other. Merciful Guanyin and Amitabha have guided not only Tibet and China, but also western countries, especially by spreading Buddhism in the past twenty years. In Manikabang, I saw a short explanation about the inheritance of the method of turning the meridian wheel and how to meditate and meditate when you practice this method.
In Tibet, and wherever the Mahayana Vajrayana teaching method is circulated, the sutra wheel method is circulated. This method was passed from Dragon Tree Bodhisattva to Lion Face Daozi, then from Lion Face Daozi to Lotus Peanut and brought to Tibet by Lotus Peanut. After reading this professor, I have great confidence in this method. It is not meaningless, but a valuable and meaningful method of textual research. From this law book, I have some knowledge about how to effectively purify my mind and accumulate great merits. 1987, when I was in Kannonji, I noticed that this place became very quiet. Feeling so calm will make you want to stay there and live there. Kannonji has never been like this before. I don't know why it has changed. At that time, Gacy was there. Gesila has done many Buddhist things. After leaving Tibet, he spent many years in the Maitreya Bashan Cave in the Himalayas. He did two thousand fasts, which were two days of intensive Guanyin retreat. He must accept the precepts of Mahayana Baguan Pavilion, make many large prayers and perform many spells. Lama Quegexi practiced mind skillfully on Bodhi Road, so I think the tranquility of Kannonji may come from Gexi's Bodhi Mind. However, the day before I finished the trip, an idea came to my mind: "Oh, this change may be due to the chakra-it wasn't there before. The prayer wheel is much smaller than the prayer wheel in the Pure Land Center of the pharmacist Buddha, but it also contains many spells for making micro-movies, which are very well made. Soon after, I was invited by a meditation center in Brazil to teach Dharma locally. A student gave me a book written by a senior disciple of Tashan Zugu, telling about his experience in building a prayer wheel and stupa in Tashan Zugu Center. In part, he mentioned that after the prayer wheel was completed, the area was completely transformed and became very quiet, pleasant and beneficial to the soul. This strengthened my belief. According to my own inference, Kannonji has become so quiet because of the newly-built prayer wheel. Others have experienced similar effects through the construction of prayer wheels, which helps to stabilize my confidence.
There are four types of warp wheels: ground, water, fire and wind. One of the advantages of the prayer wheel is that it is the enlightenment of the ten buddhas and bodhisattvas. For the benefit of all sentient beings, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas appear in the prayer wheel, which eliminates all our evil deeds and obstacles and enables us to prove Bodhi Daoism. In the area where prayer wheels are built, all sentient beings (not only people, but also insects, etc. ) it will not degenerate into three evils, and it will be a pure land of heaven and death. If you have a Mani prayer wheel at home, your home is no different from the Potala Palace in Guanyin Pure Land. When you die, if there is a chakra around you, you don't need Pova method. Having chakras themselves becomes a way to move consciousness to pure land. As long as you think of chakras, you can help a dying person to send out consciousness from the top chakra through the midrib and turn it into the pure land of Amitabha or Guanyin. Just touching the prayer wheel can remove great evil and obstacles. Turning a prayer wheel containing one million hums will accumulate merits just like reciting one million hums. This prayer wheel in the center of the pure land of the pharmacist Buddha contains11800 million incantations, and one turn is equivalent to reading so many incantations. In those few seconds, you have practiced such a powerful method of pure practice and accumulated so many merits. Turning the warp wheel once is equivalent to successfully closing it for many years. This is explained as one of the benefits of the warp wheel. Through the water prayer wheel, the water that touches the prayer wheel will be blessed. When water flows into the sea or lake, it has the ability to remove many animals and insects.
I once had a wish, which has become stronger recently, that is, to build a prayer wheel in the sea. Because I was invited to help many other Buddhist projects, the idea of building a water wheel was postponed. However, I recently mentioned this idea in a conversation about prayer wheels when I was in a Buddhist center in Taiwan Province Province. A donor has been running a family business for several years. He was very happy to build a waterwheel because his father started by buying fish. Since the success of his family comes from fishing, he feels that his family owes a lot of fish and has long wanted to do something to repay or benefit the fish. When I mentioned the idea of water meridian wheel, he almost cried, and then he asked, "Why did you ask me to build this meridian wheel?" Then I explained various reasons, and he happily built a water wheel. I mentioned the idea of building the water meridian wheel in the waters near Taiwan Province Province, but he wanted to build it in Hawaii, where the water in the Pacific Ocean can contact the meridian wheel, which will bring great benefits.
The steam wheel is driven by the heat energy of candles or electric lights. The light emitted from the chakra removes the evil deeds of all beings it touches. The wind-driven warping wheel is similar to this. The wind that touches the prayer wheel is blessed by the power of the prayer wheel, so it has the power to remove any emotional evils and obstacles touched by the wind.
I think it's a good idea to use a prayer wheel because it can effectively eliminate evil deeds. A few years ago, after I explained the benefits of the prayer wheel in Copan Temple, Rhona and Terry volunteered to make a prayer wheel so that students who want to practice this method can get it smoothly. They generously made many small prayer wheels and provided them to many students, including me.
Later, I presented my prayer wheel to the King of Nepal. When I mentioned to him that it helps to have a chakra when one dies, he suddenly became distant. I think this is an unusual topic for him. He asked, "Do I have to keep it? So I said, "Yes. It is also mentioned in the teaching method that chakras can prevent inhuman and other emotional injuries and prevent diseases, so I think they can be used for treatment.
Any sick sentient beings, such as AIDS or cancer, whether they know Buddhism or not, can use chakras for meditation and treatment. For example, patients can come to the pure land center of the pharmacist Buddha every day and spend several hours turning the meridian wheel to observe. There are two views. First of all, you imagine the light from the mantra in the chakra, illuminating you and eliminating all your diseases and causes, evil thoughts and habits in your heart. Then visualize the light to illuminate all sentient beings and purify all pain, bad karma and obstacles. The second vision is that light radiates from mantras, just like a vacuum straw absorbs dust, attracting all diseases and inhuman injuries, and most importantly, the causes of diseases, bad karma and obstacles. All this is inhaled or integrated into the warp wheel.
When you recite five or ten rosary spells, you visualize yourself in this way. After reading a few rosaries, visualize the light emitted by the prayer wheel and eliminate the pain and obstacles of the six sentient beings. All these are integrated into the prayer wheel, and all sentient beings, including themselves, are liberated, and the whole Bodhi Road has been realized, which has achieved great sorrow. You can also use this visual method to walk around the tower.
If someone suffers from AIDS, cancer or other diseases, meditation like this, as much time as possible every day, will certainly have some effect. I know several people who have completely recovered from advanced cancer through meditation. Even though a person may not understand the Buddhist doctrine of reincarnation or karma, because they want to have a peaceful mind and a peaceful death at this moment, because they want physical and mental health, they should use this particularly powerful and meaningful therapy.
I want to emphasize that every chakra, regardless of its size, is suitable for the treatment of patients. This method is very practical and meaningful. Two years ago, I asked Kim McCann to build a prayer wheel in this pure land center of the pharmacist Buddha, not only to enable people to practice like this, but also to bless this land. It helps people and all insects and animals. Kim and his wife Sandra spent a lot of time and energy to complete this extremely solemn prayer wheel, and I believe many people helped them complete it. I sincerely thank them for their achievements. The prayer wheel makes a place very sacred and precious, just like pure land.
