foreword

The national students' physical health monitoring in 2004 is the second monitoring after the establishment of the "National Students' Physical Health Monitoring Network" by the Ministry of Education in 2002. Forty-three students' physical health monitoring stations in Beijing, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Heilongjiang, Jiangsu, Fujian, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Guangdong, Yunnan, Chongqing, Tibet, Gansu, Xinjiang and other provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) participated in this monitoring work. Establishing the "National Student Physical Health Monitoring Network" and carrying out regular monitoring of students' physical health can not only timely understand the development trend of students' physical health status and possible new health problems in China, but also improve and strengthen the school sports health work in time according to the existing problems, which is an important measure to implement the guiding ideology of "school education should establish health first" and a basic work for scientific decision-making, scientific management and scientific evaluation of school sports health work.

The monitoring targets are male and female students of Han nationality in urban and rural areas and Tibetan students aged 7-22. The monitoring number is 183? 0 16 people. Among them, Han students 180? 143 people, Tibetan students 2? 873 people. The monitoring items include 1 4 indicators of height, weight, chest circumference, vital capacity, pulse, blood pressure, grip strength, 50m running, standing long jump,1min sit-ups, sitting forward, step test, vision and dental caries.

In order to make all walks of life know the monitoring results in time and make full use of this valuable information resource, thus producing extensive social benefits. We collated the monitoring data for the reference of education, sports, health workers and researchers. This book is divided into four parts: the first part is the announcement of the Ministry of Education on the monitoring results of students' physical health in 2004; The second part is the implementation plan and detailed rules of the national student physical health monitoring network in 2004; The third part is the results and analysis of the national students' physical health monitoring in 2004; The fourth part is the national students' physical health monitoring statistics in 2004.

(2) Medical and surgical examinations

The main purpose of medical and surgical physical examination is to send statistical samples of "normal" students for physical health monitoring through health screening. Physical examination is the responsibility of doctors with certain clinical experience. Each inspection team should have an attending physician responsible for business guidance and consultation.

Equipment used: diagnostic bed, stethoscope, percussion hammer.

Examination method: Ask the medical history according to the medical history collection method, and carry out physical examination according to the physical diagnosis method. Fill in the key items on the test card item by item (see attached table 2: National Student Physical Health Network Work Test Card (II)). Will be diagnosed according to the medical history and signs of the disease, the necessary examination to determine the current disease, whether to allow to participate in physical fitness tests and other opinions, written in the "physical summary" column, signed by the chief physician. The positive signs found in physical examination should be further examined, and parents should be informed when necessary to make early diagnosis and treatment.

Anyone who has one of the following circumstances according to the medical history and physical examination shall not take part in the physical fitness test, so it is not included in the statistical sample of human physical fitness measurement:

(1) Diseases of heart, lung, liver, kidney and other important organs (such as heart disease, hypertension, tuberculosis, asthma, hepatitis, nephritis, etc. );

(2) Abnormal physical development (such as dwarfism and gigantism);

(3) Physical disability and deformity (such as severe scoliosis, chicken breast, limping, obvious O-leg, X-leg, etc.). );

(4) Acute patients, or those who have suffered from acute diseases such as high fever and diarrhea in the last month, and their physical strength has not recovered;

(5) the menstrual period of girls.

Those who can take part in the physical fitness test should be circled in the word "Can you take part in the physical fitness test" on the test card; On the contrary, if you can't take the physical fitness test, you should circle the word "no". The latter is not included in the statistical sample.
