Skills of playing billiards

Billiards, also called table tennis in many places, is a sport that many young people will like. What are the basic skills of playing billiards?

The first item (backswing) is to cultivate the correct backswing and defensive posture, so that your arms can stretch naturally instead of being stiff, which can help you lock the target ball. Often practice the high and low posture and position of thumb and four fingers bridging, and strive to be relaxed, solid and stable, which has an absolute influence on the accuracy of the pole. Don't just hold the club with your fingertips, and don't hold it tightly with the strength of your wrist. Lifting the club lightly is the most correct way. When the cue ball is close to the target ball, the distance between bars should be shortened, and the grip position should be moved forward with proper cooperation, otherwise it should be moved backward.

The smaller the horizontal angle of the second item (aiming), the more accurate the hit. The shoulder line (midline) of the grip should be aimed at the direction of the target ball, and the shoulder point is directly above the center of gravity of both feet. Keep the center of chin directly above the club, in line with the center of nose tip and eyebrows. You can transport the rod 3~5 times before releasing it. If you exceed it, you will easily lose your sense of rhythm, but you will add unnecessary pressure to yourself.
