The assessment content of the employment certificate includes basic theory, basic skills and sample analysis, and the assessment content is determined according to the work nature and post requirements of the assessed personnel.

The basic contents include basic knowledge of environmental protection, basic theoretical knowledge of environmental monitoring, environmental protection standards and monitoring norms, knowledge of quality assurance and quality control, statistical knowledge of commonly used data, sampling methods, sample pretreatment methods, analysis and testing methods, data processing and evaluation modes, etc.

The assessment of basic skills includes layout, sampling, reagent preparation, standardized operation of commonly used analytical instruments, instrument calibration, quality assurance and control measures, data recording and processing, calibration curve making, sample testing and data auditing procedures.

1. Abide by national disciplines and regulations, abide by professional ethics, and meet one of the following conditions, you can apply to take the professional qualification examination for environmental impact assessment engineers:

(1) Obtained a junior college degree in environmental protection and engaged in environmental impact assessment for 7 years; Or obtain a college degree in other majors and have been engaged in environmental impact assessment for 8 years.

(2) Obtained a bachelor's degree in environmental protection-related major and engaged in environmental impact assessment for 5 years; Or obtain a bachelor's degree in other majors and have been engaged in environmental impact assessment for 6 years.

(3) Obtain a master's degree in environmental protection and have been engaged in environmental impact assessment for 2 years; Or obtain a master's degree in other majors and have been engaged in environmental impact assessment for 3 years.

(4) Obtained a doctorate in environmental protection and engaged in environmental impact assessment for 1 year; Or get a doctorate in other majors and have been engaged in environmental impact assessment for 2 years.

2. Those who have worked in the post of environmental impact assessment for a long time and meet one of the following conditions may be exempted from the two subjects of Technical Guidelines and Standards for Environmental Impact Assessment and Technical Methods for Environmental Impact Assessment, and only take the two subjects of Case Analysis of Environmental Impact Assessment and Relevant Laws and Regulations for Environmental Impact Assessment.

(1) Engaged in senior professional and technical positions in engineering for 3 years, and engaged in environmental impact assessment related business for 15 years.

(2) Employed as a senior professional and technical post in engineering, and obtained the Certificate of Environmental Impact Assessment Training issued by the Environmental Protection Administration.
