Wuzhong is a prefecture-level city in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, located in the middle of Ningxia, on the bank of the Yellow River, with an area of 2 1.400 square kilometers. It governs Litong District, Hongsibao District, Qingtongxia City, Yanchi County and Tongxin County.
Wuzhong is a multi-ethnic city with 28 ethnic groups including Hui, Manchu and Mongolian. The Hui population accounts for 54.7% of the Hui population in Ningxia, which is one of the largest cities in China.
Wuzhong has a long history and culture. Yellow River culture and red culture complement each other, leaving behind the ancient Great Wall, the ancient canal in Qin and Han dynasties, and the 108 tower. With dense road network and convenient transportation, it is 40 kilometers away from Yinchuan Hedong Airport.
