When stimulation continues to occur and reaches a certain level, it will do harm to human health. China automobile data and the survey results of the third-party automobile quality platform show that the number of odor complaints in 20 19 years has increased by more than 23 times compared with that in 20 14 years, and the complaint rate has increased by 16 times, indicating that there is still much room for improvement in the odor level of the industry. In order to solve the problem of consumers' complaints about odor and improve the competitiveness of products in the market, major enterprises have increased their efforts to control the odor in cars. However, due to the complexity of the smell inside the car, enterprises still face many challenges in improving the smell inside the car.
In order to clarify the real demand of consumers for the odor inside the car, lock in the odor source substances inside the car, and help enterprises to improve the control effect of the odor inside the car, on the basis of previous data investigation and research work, China Automobile Data put forward the idea of compiling a research report on the odor inside the car, and conducted an in-depth study on the odor level inside the car in 20 19, forming the "China Research Report on the Odor Inside the Car". This report is the first special research report on the smell inside the car in the industry. The research object is the automobile with high complaint rate and high attention. According to the report, the top 50 models of odor complaints in 20 18-20 19 mainly came from 26 automobile brands such as SAIC Volkswagen, FAW-Volkswagen, Changan Automobile and Beijing Hyundai, which basically covered the mainstream brands in the market. China Auto Data randomly selected six models from the above models for odor detection and analysis, namely LaVida, Magotan, Roewe eRX5, Speedy, Scenery 580 and Teana.
The results of consumer odor survey show that over 70% of the vehicles with odor complaints in 20 18-20 19 complained that the odor intensity exceeded Grade 3. The first three kinds of unpleasant smells are leather smell, plastic smell and rubber smell, and 84.9% of cars have two or more smells. The top three odor source components are seats, soundproof cotton and air conditioners, and more than 60% of users' feedback odor comes from more than three components; Judging from the proportion of users' recommendation on vehicle selection, 49% users clearly indicated that it was not recommended because of the smell inside the car, and the influence of smell on brand recommendation should not be underestimated.
From the analysis results of odor substances, the chemical substances causing odor are quite different among different models. The key substances that produce odor in LaVida are dimethyl aminoethyl ether, N, N- dimethylacetamide, acetaldehyde, propionaldehyde, butyraldehyde and valeraldehyde, benzothiazole and hexanal, and 2,6-di-tert-butyl-p-cresol and cyclohexyl isothiophenol.
From the results of comprehensive odor analysis, the objective odor grades of the six models are 4.0, 3.9, 3.8, 3.4, 3.4 and 3.2 respectively. From the smell type, it mainly shows plastic smell, solvent smell and foaming smell; In terms of odor concentration, the value is concentrated in 18~64. The smaller the index value, the faster the odor in the car dissipates. In terms of olfactory pleasure, the six categories are -3, -3, -3,-1, -2 and-1 respectively.
