Optional inspection items; Electrocardiogram, abdominal B-ultrasound, thyroid function, serum testosterone, peripheral blood lymph, cytochromsome aberration analysis, sputum cytological examination and/or lung function examination (radioactive mine workers, those who need to wear respiratory protective devices when receiving internal irradiation), and detection of radionuclide retention in vivo by using whole body counter (those who are engaged in unsealed source operations).

The health requirements of radiation workers, the appearance of the human body is normal, does not affect the normal operation. Mental state is normal, mood is stable, language expression and writing ability are normal, nervous system function is normal, medical operation and dermatological examination are normal, normal operation is not affected, hearing function is normal, vision is normal, corrected vision should not be less than 5.0, and there is no red-green color blindness.
Hematopoietic function is normal, blood cell analysis (venous blood instrument detection) index is within the reference range, thyroid function is normal, and chromosome aberration rate and micronucleus rate of peripheral blood lymphocytes are within the normal reference range of our laboratory. Radiation workers should have the health conditions to perform their duties accurately in normal, abnormal or emergency situations.
Indications that it is not suitable for radiation work, severe visual and/or hearing impairment, and severe and recurrent diseases make it lose part of its working ability, such as severe hematopoietic organ diseases, chronic lung diseases with decompensated functions, uncontrolled diabetes, uncontrolled epilepsy and serious skin diseases at exposed parts.
Authorized doctors can evaluate their working ability according to the corresponding health standards and issue certificates. Health administrative law enforcement personnel shall produce their certificates when conducting supervision and inspection according to law. The units under inspection shall cooperate, truthfully report the situation and provide necessary information, and shall not refuse, obstruct or conceal.
The expenses for occupational health examination of radiation workers, diagnosis and identification of radiation diseases, medical treatment and medical follow-up observation shall be borne by their units, and medical institutions engaged in occupational health examination of radiation workers shall be approved by the provincial health administrative department.
