The national health risk assessment (CHRA) system in China adopted the third-generation patented technology of HRA (Health Risk Assessment) from the Health Management Research Center of the University of Michigan in 2004. It is a scientific health assessment system for China people, which is jointly developed by experts and scholars from China and the United States according to China's national conditions and statistical data.
The Health Management Research Center of the University of Michigan is one of the pioneers in systematic research, popularization and application of HRA in the world. As early as 1980, the center became the first and only one in the United States, and was authorized by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to promote HRA system and popularize health risk assessment in the United States. The US Centers for Disease Control and the University of Michigan Fitness Research Center (the predecessor of the Health Management Research Center) are responsible for the promotion and popularization of HRA in 25 States in the United States. From the early 1980s to the late 1980s, in order to popularize HRA technology and fully develop the American market of HRA, the Health Management Research Center of the University of Michigan conducted technical training for HRA computer system users and HRA evaluators, and did a lot of work, which was recognized and praised by the American Association of Predictive Medicine.
The Center for Health Management of the University of Michigan, while promoting the HRA technology of the CDC in the United States, has conducted in-depth, extensive and comprehensive research on the HRA system based on predictive medicine, and gradually established and improved the HRA system of the University of Michigan, which is based on the HRA technology of the CDC, combined with behavioral science, led by health education, and advocates a scientific lifestyle for the American public.
