Electronic health record
In reality, we use different cases in different hospitals, and each case is different. In this case, if patients can't provide or forget to provide past cases from other hospitals, hospitals can't get them, which actually hinders doctors' normal diagnosis and treatment to some extent. Once the blockchain technology is used, the medical data of each of us will be saved in our electronic medical records.
DNA wallet
Genetic and medical data can be safely stored through blockchain technology and obtained through private keys. In this way, a DNA wallet is formed, and the pharmaceutical industry can automatically retrieve relevant data from the whole network according to the authorization level when conducting drug research and development. This change will bring great value to drug research and development.
Drug anti-counterfeiting
The application of blockchain technology in the field of drug anti-counterfeiting is very similar to the identity mode mentioned above. It makes use of the traceability of blockchain to give pharmaceutical raw materials and finished products a unique corresponding code, so that counterfeiters have nothing to hide and can't exploit loopholes. The only outcome of speculators producing counterfeit drugs can only be that there is no such data. This is a fake medicine. It will also face a situation that is not accepted by the market.
Protein folding
Protein's folding process is time-consuming and laborious to simulate. Previously, the world-famous Stanford University relied on very expensive supercomputers to simulate the whole folding process of protein, but the shortcomings of this method are also obvious: huge cost and single point of failure.
Using blockchain technology, a distributed network can be established to help protein fold. Each node in the node network can call the computing power of the whole network when performing operations. When 10 thousand computers in the whole network calculate a data reasonably, researchers don't need to buy expensive supercomputers.
