What documents do I need to go to Thailand now? Now Thailand is open to entry. If you have plans or plans to go to Thailand, the following guide will tell you what preparations you need to make. Thailand, like other countries, needs some necessary documents besides travel documents before entering the country.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT), the Royal Thai Immigration Police and other embassies abroad officially announced that tourists must prepare four new documents if they want to enter Thailand.
1. Entry Permit
All non-Thai nationals wishing to enter Thailand must submit this certificate. Before approving the application, the reasons and urgency of each entry application will be examined one by one. To obtain a license, please visit the website (https://coethailand.mfa.go) and follow the instructions to apply. The application process should be completed 7 days to 14 days before the travel date. Don't confuse an entry permit with a visa, because they are different documents.
Visitors are advised to hold a Thai visa before submitting a CoE application, because you may need to provide a visa on the CoE application platform.
In order to issue a CoE, visitors must provide the confirmation of the reservation of the ASQ hotel you choose and COVID-19 travel insurance (coronavirus pneumonia-19).
2. airworthiness certificate
As the name implies, "airworthiness certificate" is a medical certificate that you are suitable for traveling without any symptoms. Before entering Thailand, please obtain a certificate issued by a doctor within 72 hours before leaving the country. (The picture below shows the template)
3. Coronavirus Pneumonia-Free Certificate
Different from the certificate of "airworthiness certificate and health certificate", this is the result of a laboratory, which specifically proves that your coronavirus test is negative and you have no symptoms of coronavirus pneumonia-19. The test adopts RT-PCR method and must be conducted by qualified medical or testing institutions no more than 72 hours before take-off.
4. Insurance
All foreigners wishing to enter Thailand must purchase insurance, preferably health insurance related to coronavirus disease (coronavirus pneumonia-19), with the amount of at least 100000 USD. You need to pay special attention when choosing a travel insurance plan, because most travel insurance does not cover epidemic diseases. Therefore, before purchasing, please ensure that your insurance covers coronavirus diseases (coronavirus pneumonia-19).
The newly added documents may require more preparation time and more money, but they are mandatory documents to ensure travel safety and prevent the spread of COVID-19 virus (coronavirus pneumonia-19). In addition to these requirements, magical Thailand is waiting for you! These documents should be more difficult, so most of my friends should read them. Suppose you want to go, at least be prepared.
The specific steps after arriving in Thailand are as of June 5438+February, 2020. Thailand has opened its borders, and tourists from all over the world can enter the country regardless of the epidemic situation of coronavirus pneumonia-19. However, tourists must abide by epidemic prevention measures and regulations before arrival, after arrival and when leaving. So now that all the formalities have been completed, what steps will be taken when we arrive?
1. Check travel and entry documents.
Visitors' documents for entering Thailand will be checked.
2. Screening procedures
Check the temperature of visitors.
Tourists will be asked about their medical information and recent travel history.
If the temperature of tourists exceeds 37.5 degrees Celsius, or they have symptoms of coughing, sneezing, shortness of breath and/or difficulty breathing, they need to undergo nucleic acid testing to determine whether they carry the virus. The detection process itself is not complicated, and the results will come out soon. If the test result is negative, the visitor can go to the next step. However, if it is positive, tourists will be transferred to a specific hospital for treatment.
