Today, with the progress of science and technology and the explosion of knowledge, mankind has also entered the era of "emotional burden". As a special social group, college students have many special problems, such as adaptation to new learning environment and tasks, choice and attitude towards majors, conflict between ideal and reality, handling interpersonal relationships and planning for future careers. It is very necessary to strengthen the psychological health education for college students, so as to avoid or effectively deal with the psychological pressure, psychological crisis or psychological obstacles caused by the above problems and adapt to the current social development environment with a positive and normal mental state.
Personally, what psychology teaches me is to know myself correctly. Considering the mental health standards of college students, I have normal intelligence, complete personality, respect for myself and others, good interpersonal relationships, adaptability to psychological age characteristics, realistic goals, basically stable emotions and sound will.
Considering the characteristics of self-awareness, I can think, analyze and solve problems independently, have a certain opinion, and don't go with the flow, but I occasionally hesitate when I encounter major events and are influenced by others' hints. I am rebellious and dependent, but I have begun to try to look at society from the perspective of adults and analyze social phenomena with my own moral standards, so I have certain ideals and life goals. Although the desire for self-control is strong, the ability of self-control is still insufficient.
Considering the emotional characteristics, my emotional experience is rich. With the improvement of knowledge level and the accumulation of knowledge and experience, my emotional self-control ability has been strengthened, but there are still obvious fluctuations. Stimulated by the outside world, although I can restrain myself, sometimes I am impulsive, unable to analyze problems very calmly and objectively, and sometimes I am emotional. Considering my personality characteristics, I can face and accept the reality, objectively evaluate and accept myself, others and society, and broaden my horizons. I love things around me, have an independent personality, can distinguish between ends and means, have a clear attitude towards the distinction between good and evil, and have a moderate sense of humor and creativity. That's how I know myself. Although it may be a little biased, it is also the basis for adjusting yourself to the ever-advancing life. Knowing myself correctly from different angles is my greatest gain.
Everyone is eager to see themselves more clearly and understand others. Psychology is like a mirror, which allows us to present ourselves clearly. Some people say that psychology is mysterious. I think the mystery is just people and things that we don't know enough. In fact, I am very happy to study psychology, and I am very happy to see myself in the mirror. I believe what I get from it will make me face the future with more confidence.
