Why is health so difficult?

On August 27th, 2020, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said at a press conference that nearly 654.38 billion people in the world were affected by mental health problems. This figure has caused a lot of discussion, and it also makes us think about why mental health problems are always ignored by people.

First, people lack this knowledge, so they can't correctly understand mental health problems. For many people, material life is a real life that can be felt. Material needs are far more important than spiritual needs, so most people will ignore their mental health problems. At the same time, because people don't pay attention to this problem, few people spread this knowledge. Therefore, it is difficult for most people to get in touch with mental health knowledge in their daily life. Needless to say, few people have the opportunity to receive systematic psychological education. So most people can't learn mental health knowledge. So most people don't realize their mental health problems. Therefore, mental health problems are often ignored by people.

Second, the society lacks a correct understanding of mental health problems and cannot help people solve mental health problems well. Although people's living standards are constantly improving, most people lack a correct understanding of mental health problems. This leads to the lack of correct understanding of mental health problems in society. So many people will think that mental health problems are abnormal and cannot be changed. Therefore, many mental patients don't know who to turn to for help. At the same time, there are some formal institutions in society to help people understand their mental health problems. So many people can't correctly understand their mental health problems. At the same time, some people with mental health problems can't find institutions to turn to, so their problems are more serious. Therefore, the misunderstanding of the whole society leads to people's mental health problems being ignored.
