Professor Hong said that at present, the production of plastic floors mostly uses Uv paint or Pu paint. The so-called Uv paint refers to the UV curing paint used in the painting process, while Pu paint is polyurethane paint. The main difference between Uv paint and Pu paint is the process. Some UV-curable paints also contain polyurethane paint. Uv paint adopts UV curing process, which is pollution-free when painting and more environmentally friendly than Pu paint. From the perspective of factory floor processing technology, it is good for workers' health and environmental protection, and it is an updated product from the perspective of production. However, for the buyer, the solvent in the paint surface of the finished floor has volatilized during the processing, and neither the Uv-painted floor produced by light curing process nor the Pu-painted floor produced by traditional process will cause pollution harm to users.
Professor Hong said that it is difficult to say which kind of painted floor is better from the point of view of use. Technically, the gloss of Uv paint is better, but it is not absolute, which often depends on the technical level of workers. Uv paint and Pu paint have good wear resistance.
Professor Hong reminded buyers that to prevent the paint on the floor from being polluted, when buying the floor, it is mainly to see whether the paint on the floor is completely dry. When the paint dries, it will be all right.
Professor Hong said that plastic floors only produce toxic gases when they burn. The pollution of general plastic floors is mostly related to the adhesives used in the paving process. Many adhesives used now have excessive formaldehyde content. Therefore, buyers should pay attention to the choice of adhesive; In addition, if plastic pavement and paint are used on site, air pollution will also occur. The treatment method is to fully ventilate and let the surface of floor paint dry thoroughly; There is also adhesive between plastic floors. If the formaldehyde emission exceeds the standard, it will also cause pollution.
Professor Hong told us that the bright, semi-matte and sub-matte floors sold in the market now are only for technological treatment to meet the needs of different consumers, and have no corresponding relationship with Uv and Pu paint materials. The quality of paint surface is mainly reflected in whether the paint surface is plump and beautiful, and whether the product has high wear resistance index. If you understand this, you won't be bothered by the glib mouth of the salesman.
