People living in rural areas have more or less seen the production process of self-squeezing oil, which is all by physical squeezing. The raw materials are handed over to the oil mill for processing, and the oil is basically heat-treated (or fried or steamed) first, then put into the press, and the oil is squeezed out by the pressure in the press chamber.

Aflatoxin is a kind of toxic secondary metabolites produced by fungi such as Aspergillus flavus and Aspergillus parasiticus. It exists in soil, animals and plants, all kinds of nuts, and it is particularly easy to pollute peanut, corn, rice, soybean, wheat and other grain and oil products. Therefore, rice and corn are the most widely planted, while peanuts and rapeseed are few. There are not many peanuts and rapeseed that farmers use to extract oil every year. Of course, the oil squeezed out is not enough for them to eat, but peanuts used to squeeze oil.

As for high-temperature self-extrusion oil, how can you get oil without extrusion? Large oil processing plants not only use oil presses to squeeze oil, but also are bigger, squeezing all the oil at once. Now, when the peanut harvest ends in autumn, it is the busiest season of the year. Usually, every village has a small self-extracting oil workshop. Of course, some villages have a small population and need to go to neighboring villages to extract oil.

Go to an oil mill named Liu in Miaoshan, east of Pulandian, to get oil. They have complete pumping equipment, and the first process is peanut hulling. After hulling, it goes directly to the second process for baking and frying, and it takes a short time for peanuts to cool after cooking. But the peanut oil squeezed by farmers at home is 100% pure. I don't know much about southern rapeseed oil because I live in the north. Most people in northern rural areas are peanuts. After harvesting peanuts in autumn, pure peanut oil needs 20 yuan/kg. Then there is lard. This year, we are affected by non-plague, and the price of lard has soared. At present, the price of lard is also around 12 yuan/kg, and the cheapest is rapeseed oil.
