Can kittens carry rabies?

Kittens don't carry rabies. Rabies is a fatal disease spread by virus, which is mainly transmitted to humans through bites or saliva of dogs, cats, foxes and other animals. Kittens have no contact with the outside world for several months after birth, so the possibility of rabies is extremely low. However, once a kitten comes into contact with an animal suffering from rabies or is bitten by a flea infected with rabies virus, it may get rabies. Therefore, timely vaccination of young cats is a key measure to prevent rabies. Kittens can be vaccinated when they are 3 months old. After vaccination, they should be reviewed and replanted according to the advice of veterinarians to ensure the healthy development of kitten's immune system.
