Robbery, extortion, traffic accidents and accidental casualties are the main sources from outside the school.

The leaders, teachers and students of our school attach great importance to it and take active actions. Some experts pointed out that 80% of accidents can be avoided by improving the self-protection ability of primary school students in China through safety education. In order to strengthen safety education for primary and secondary school students, in February, 1996, six ministries and commissions, including the State Education Commission and the Ministry of Public Security, jointly issued a notice to designate the last week of March every year as the national safety education day for primary and secondary school students, establish a national safety education system for primary and secondary school students, and urge the development of safety education.

In order to better publicize traffic safety laws and regulations and enhance students' awareness of traffic safety, the Ministry of Education has designated the theme of the safety education day for primary and secondary school students on March 28th this year as "enhancing traffic safety awareness and improving self-protection ability".
