Omaha, what is the Open Health Alliance?

Omaha is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the openness, sharing and open source of information in the medical and health industry. It is composed of domestic excellent HIT and medical and health application developers, various medical and health service institutions, medical equipment and health consumer electronics manufacturers, operators, Internet companies, media and other related industrial chain institutions and individuals.

Omaha is committed to promoting data openness in the medical and health industry, and exploring the cooperation and implementation of relevant information standards to improve the integrity, accessibility and usability of people's use of their own health care data.

Six working groups were established in Omaha:

Cultural promotion working group: promote the accessibility, integrity and exchangeability of personal medical data, and advocate the relevant health care service institutions to open personal data; Promote the sharing, use and interoperability of information and data in the field of health care;

Terminology and data working group: combining with the existing standards at home and abroad and the application status of the industry, collaborate to define the terminology standard for personal medical and health data exchange and storage, and promote the industry's recognition and use of this standard;

Opendocument format Working Group: Collaborate to formulate a standard document format for opening personal health records, and promote the document format to be accepted and used by organizations and individuals in various industrial chains in the industry for the benefit of the people;

Privacy and security working group: ensure the privacy and security in the process of information exchange and transmission by formulating personal identity authentication and encryption and decryption of personal files; At the same time, study relevant laws and regulations at home and abroad and actively participate in the formulation of relevant domestic standards;

Open source working group: support open source activities in the medical and health field, promote the exchange, display and application of open source medical projects in the industry, and promote the open source of basic components in the medical and health industry.
