How to Cultivate Students' Healthy Personality

Primary school is the initial stage of life growth and development, with rapid physical development and psychological development, but personality, as the core component of psychological characteristics, has just entered the formative stage. Therefore, the primary school stage is an excellent opportunity to understand children's real psychological activities, carry out targeted psychological education and cultivate good psychological quality and behavior habits. Therefore, it is the fundamental task of current school education and the core task of national quality education in this century to influence and promote the development of children's healthy personality through various psychological, behavioral and educational methods.

Personality education is an education that pays attention to the psychological quality of the educated. It unifies knowledge, emotion, will and action, and establishes a complete and sound psychological structure, thus forming a high-level and efficient self-regulation system. Healthy personality is not only one of the important indicators of mental health, but also an important resource of mental health. Everyone has a sense of responsibility for their mental health. Therefore, we pay attention to cultivating the "healthy personality" of primary school students while daily education and teaching.

Under the impact of economic life, people pay more attention to material interests and interests. This mentality affects our children through the role of parents and social media, which makes some children put enjoyment and money first. They never consider the needs of others, and when they see that others are in trouble, they not only don't lend a helping hand, but also wait to see other people's jokes. For example, children often tease the disabled and mentally retarded around them, but at the same time they are very happy. Although this is the behavior of individual students, it is by no means accidental. It reflects the lack of compassion and selfishness of a few students. Therefore, we have created the following activities to educate and guide students.

(1) Teach students to have love in their hearts. Learn to love others, and you won't judge everything in the world by your own likes and dislikes. To this end, we organize students to participate in public welfare activities such as planting trees, planting flowers, beautifying the campus, cleaning public health, donating money, etc., guide each student to do what he can for the lonely elderly in the village, help a classmate solve problems, and encourage students to care for others, friends, classmates and even strangers with their own practical actions.

(2) Cultivate students' sympathy. Compassion is a kind of sympathy, care, recognition and support for others' misfortune, and it is the emotional basis to ensure interpersonal communication. It enables us to put ourselves in others' shoes and share joys and sorrows with them. For example, in teaching, we consciously let students truly feel the difficulties of disabled people's study and life; Encourage them to learn to understand, understand, put themselves in others' shoes, sympathize with and help others. Thus, students' sympathy and sense of social responsibility can be effectively and gradually enhanced. Most children nowadays are only children. They are regarded as "little suns" and "little princesses", and live a life of "clothes stretch out their hands, food comes from their mouths". In this way, they are only used to considering their own interests first at any time, putting everything that is unfavorable to them on the people around them, and don't know how to think of others. In view of this situation, we mainly carry out education in two steps.

(1) Self-education. We organized a class meeting with the theme of "Tell me about myself". First, we ask students to reveal their usual "self-centered" examples. For example, when handing out homework, I often turn other homework books upside down in order to pick out one of my own first; Always willing to grab the front when cooking; When you are on duty or cleaning, you always pick the easiest thing to do, and so on. After that, the teacher is guiding students to analyze and discuss these behaviors and practices, launching criticism and self-criticism, so that students can understand right and wrong and correct their own behaviors. This can not only avoid students' rebellious psychology, but also impress students' hearts and easily achieve the best results.

(2) story infection. For this phenomenon of students, we can also carefully select stories that students are interested in in in a planned and purposeful way to educate them, inspire and guide them to know the truth and understand the disadvantages of "self-centeredness". In this way, students can be inspired by a story, and they can find problems and draw conclusions by themselves. In this way, students can sing, and it is easy to achieve better educational results.

Self-confidence is the core of personality, representing an excellent psychological quality and a positive attitude towards life. A positive attitude towards life means recognition, acceptance, affirmation and support for yourself. However, primary and middle school students in China generally lack self-confidence. Even some students with excellent academic performance and strong practical ability can't stand difficulties and setbacks in the face of challenges. Some students lack self-confidence because of setbacks or physical defects in life. When they encounter new difficulties, they often have negative self-suggestion that "I can't cope" and often fail because of excessive tension and lack of self-confidence. In this regard, we focus on the following two aspects of training.

(1) Accept yourself. We must guide students to accept their own advantages and disadvantages, and correct their shortcomings. This is to guide students to truly understand the truth that "the inch is long and the ruler is short". Don't compare your own shortcomings with the advantages of others, let alone deny everything with your own shortcomings.

(2) correct attribution. Attribution is simply to explain the reasons for your success or failure. In daily life, success and failure are common, but people have different attitudes towards them. Some students fail, and their learning motivation will not be weakened, but they will work harder. Some students fail, they will reduce their self-confidence or interest in learning, thus relaxing their study. This is closely related to their attribution of learning results. To this end, after each test or independent homework, we should organize students to make collective analysis and correction to help students analyze the causes of mistakes. In this way, to a great extent, they are guided to correctly understand success and failure, to adjust their learning strategies, to affirm themselves, to enhance their self-confidence and to effectively cultivate their enterprising spirit step by step.

Personality is the sum of various psychological characteristics. Without personality health, it is difficult to have mental health. Therefore, the healthy development of personality is the premise and guarantee for children and adolescents to learn successfully. The practice and attempt of the above-mentioned psychological and behavioral education activities have directly promoted students' personal development, cultivated positive attitudes towards others, themselves and the school, enhanced positive learning motivation, enhanced self-confidence and enterprising spirit, and improved interpersonal relationships, which has a very positive role, laid a foundation for the mental health development of primary school students to a certain extent, and accumulated experience for further cultivating their mental health. Of course, the cultivation of healthy personality cannot be achieved overnight, and we need to persevere, explore and make unremitting efforts in future educational practice. —— Henkel Machinery
