The dispute between Wei, Shu and Han refers to a war between Shu and Han for Hanzhong from 2 17 to 2 19.
In 2 15, Cao Cao led an army to capture the Yangpingguan guarded by Zhang Lu's younger brother Wei Zhang. Yangpingguan is easy to defend but difficult to attack. After Cao Jun suffered heavy losses, Cao Cao planned to lead his troops to retreat. However, at this time, Cao Cao found that Zhang Wei and his guards were very slack. So, that night, Gao Qi attacked Zhang, and won the Yangpingguan in one fell swoop. Zhang Lu saw the fall of Yangpingguan and fled Hanzhong. So Cao Cao can win Hanzhong without fighting. After Zhang Lu surrendered to Cao Cao, Cao Cao named him Langzhong Hou.
As we all know, Liu Bei's military plan is based on Zhuge Liang's Longzhong Dui. At this time, Liu Bei had just won Jingzhou. In other words, the military strategic layout envisaged in Longzhong Dui is only the first step. But Hanzhong is actually the northern barrier of Shu, if there is no Hanzhong. Jingzhou may be captured by Cao Cao at any time. But Cao Cao didn't listen to his advice and took Jingzhou directly. Because he was worried about the instability in Guanzhong, if there was a fire in the backyard, Cao Cao would fall into the dilemma of fighting on two fronts.
Faced with such a favorable military situation, Liu Bei's subordinate Fa Zheng hurriedly suggested that Liu Bei attack Hanzhong in the north to stabilize Jingzhou and Yizhou. So, from 2 17 to 2 19, Liu Bei led an army to attack Hanzhong. According to Mr Xue Fengfei's research, Liu Beixian sent Zhang Fei and Ma Chao, together with his subordinates Wu Zhu and thomas lee, to win Wudu. Then personally led the generals Zhao Yun, Huang Zhong and Wei Yan into Hanzhong. However, Liu Bei and Wei Jun general Zhang He and others were at loggerheads for several days. Later, Liu Bei took crow road first, then set fire to Dingjun Mountain Valley and took Dingjun Mountain.
Subsequently, the war entered a stalemate stage. Mr. Xue Fengfei thinks that Zhao Yun lures the enemy into the pass and then opens the gate wide. The enemy did not dare to advance, thinking that there was fraud, so they led the troops to retreat. Zhao Yun ordered soldiers to shoot arrows behind Cao Jun, killing many Cao Jun. After several months of stalemate, Cao Cao thought Hanzhong was really a chicken rib, which was a pity, but there was no income from eating, so he decided to give up Hanzhong.
But when people got the world, Cao Cao transferred all the people and property in Hanzhong, and finally gave up Hanzhong and withdrew his troops to Chang 'an. Although Liu Bei got Hanzhong, it was just an empty city.
