First, avoid the harm caused by pests and diseases. Especially in the rainy season, in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River where there is more rain and higher temperature, we should attach great importance to the occurrence and spread of waterlogging and diseases, such as scab and white silk disease, which mainly harm the leaves and make the spots on the front or back of the leaves appear to varying degrees and are difficult to disappear. In severe cases, the whole leaf will wither, so pay attention to disease prevention.

In early spring, once every 10 day, the mixture of thiophanate-methyl 800 times water or chlorothalonil 500 times water was used for prevention and control. At the same time, keep the orchid yard and tray well ventilated and properly spaced. When diseases occur in orchids, diseased leaves and old leaves should be cut off in time, and the acute angle formed after cutting should be less than 30 degrees. As long as the pests are removed, the leaves of the pests can be preserved. The cut orchid leaves should not be thrown into the orchid planting area, but should be burned or buried deeply.

Second, save the tip of the knife to prevent scorching. Try to keep the top of the orchid leaves and don't cut them off easily. Once the tip of the knife is lost, the orchid leaves become a bladeless sword, which looks dull. The key to maintaining the blade tip lies in daily careful maintenance and management. If the basin is too wet, the old seedlings will be easily burned; Too dry new seedlings will wither; Overheating in the basin, poor ventilation, excessive fertilization, untidy pruning of dead roots and unclean planting materials will all lead to orchid burning. As far as the external environment is concerned, high or low air humidity, poor ventilation and sultry weather can also cause focal spots.

In addition, the focus of bacteria is shrinking. When the leaves are diseased, if the scissors are not disinfected thoroughly, they will bring bacteria into the wound when they are cut. The time to cut off the lesion should be at the sunny and dry noon, when the wound heals quickly. Don't water it after cutting, and don't trim it in rainy days.

The focus is on the root, so it is necessary to turn over the basin, clean up the source of the root and directly sprinkle carbendazim powder on the wound. For the blue blade tip, "treatment" is negative, and the blade has failed after treatment. Therefore, "prevention" is positive, and management should be improved and carefully cultivated.

Third, keep the normal growth posture of blue leaves and keep them clean. Orchid leaves are easily damaged by external forces in transportation and daily maintenance management, such as breaking, kinking and winding, so be careful in operation. When spraying water, it is necessary to prevent the orchid leaves from turning over due to high water pressure; Avoid touching the blade when sweeping the floor; It is found that twisted leaves should be straightened in time to restore their normal growth state; Avoid soil, dust, insect urine and bird droppings polluting the leaves, because once polluted, it is easy to cause leaf diseases for a long time, so once polluted, it should be cleaned immediately.

Fourth, the sunshade treatment should be in place. The support of sunshade net is generally not less than 2.5 meters to ensure ventilation. At the same time, the shading index of the shading net must reach more than 70%. Long-term use of low-density sunshade nets will make some or all leaves of orchids wither and it is difficult to restore their green color. But the canopy should avoid dark and hot, and it should be bright and cool. It is better for people to feel cool under the canopy.
