How to adopt a healthy child

Legal analysis: the adopter should first go to the village Committee or neighborhood Committee where his household registration is located to issue a certificate. The main certificates are: proof of the adopter's marital status and proof of whether there are children. If the adopter has a fixed work unit, he/she also needs to issue a work certificate and a certificate of economic income to the unit, which is to prove the economic ability of the adopter. If you start your own business, you need to issue a business certificate to the village Committee or neighborhood Committee where your household registration is located. When the adopter goes to a hospital at or above the county level for a medical examination, he/she is required to issue a medical examination certificate, a birth certificate and a certificate of serious illness. The adopter brings his ID card, household registration book and the above three materials to the civil affairs bureau where the household registration is located to apply for adoption, and then fills in the relevant forms. After the adoption application is passed, the adopter can go to the local orphanage to adopt the child. After adopting a child, the adopter should take the child to the notary office where the household registration is located to notarize the adoption relationship. After notarization, it can be said that the child was legally adopted.

Legal basis: Article 1098 of the Civil Code of People's Republic of China (PRC) meets the following conditions: (1) No children or only one child; (2) Having the ability to support, educate and protect the adoptee; (3) Not suffering from diseases that are medically considered unsuitable for adopting children; (4) All criminal records that are not conducive to the healthy growth of the adoptee; (five) at least thirty years of age.
