Green food is a kind of food produced in a specific way according to the requirements of sustainable development and ecological environment protection in China in recent years. The green food produced must pass the strict inspection of the state and issue relevant qualification certificates and quality certification marks before it can be legally operated. First, the process of applying for green food certification mark:
1. The applicant fills in the Application Form for the Use of Green Food Signs in duplicate (including the attached materials) and submits it to the green food management department of the local province (autonomous region, municipality directly under the Central Government and cities with separate plans).
2. The provincial green food management department entrusts an environmental monitoring agency that has passed the metrological certification at or above the provincial level to conduct environmental assessment on the origin of products or raw materials.
3, the provincial green food management department of the application materials for preliminary examination, and the preliminary examination of qualified materials submitted to the China Green Food Development Center.
4. China Green Food Development Center will review the above materials together with authoritative environmental protection agencies. Qualified, the food monitoring agency designated by China Green Food Development Center samples its declared products and tests them according to the quality and hygiene standards of green food; Those who are unqualified will no longer accept their applications in that year.
5. China Green Food Development Center conducts a comprehensive review (including on-the-spot investigation) of products that have passed the quality and hygiene inspection, and signs an Agreement on the Use of Green Food Marks with qualified applicants: the Ministry of Agriculture issues a certificate and number for the use of green food marks; Reported to the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce for the record and announced to the public at the same time.
Two, the applicant should have the conditions:
According to Article 5 of the Measures for the Administration of Green Food Labels: "All units and individuals with green food production conditions can be used as applicants for the right to use green food labels". In order to further standardize the management, the following provisions are made for the conditions of mark applicants:
1. The applicant must be able to control the production process of products, implement the operating procedures for green food production, and ensure the product quality meets the requirements of green food standards;
2. The reporting enterprise should have a certain scale and be able to bear the use fee of green food marks;
3. Enterprises engaged in production management and services below the township level, as applicants, must have production bases and directly organize production; Commercial and service enterprises at or above the township level must have stable production bases subordinate to their own enterprises;
4. The production and operation time of the enterprise applying for processing products must be more than one year.
To sum up, the green food certification mark is not only a simple trademark, but also the detection basis and judgment standard of food safety and health. However, the market is mixed. There are always some lawless elements who, under the banner of green food, sell food that has not passed the national inspection and control, disrupting the market and seriously endangering people's health.
