Do I have to apply for a health card?

No, there are no mandatory rules.

Get a health card:

1. With my original ID card of the second or third generation, I can handle it at the networking institution designated by the district and county health bureau where the resident health card is issued.

2. Applicants under the age of 16 must have a legal guardian with an original valid ID card, a photo of the applicant, a household registration book or other valid relationship certificates. For the specific application process, please log on to the websites of district and county health bureaus.

3. After the personal information of the declared residents is finally audited by the registration management center of the Health Bureau and the financial department, the registration management center of the Health Bureau will make unified arrangements for making the residents' health cards.

4. After the residents' health cards are made, they will be distributed by the Postal Savings Bank or collected at bank outlets.

Resident health card is a CPU card that integrates social security card, new rural cooperative medical system card and medical institution card. Residents' health card is the basic carrier of personal information proposed by the state to realize cross-system, cross-institution and cross-regional interconnection and information sharing of medical and health services. The materials required to obtain a health certificate are as follows:

Certification process:
