The second phase of Wangwangshan Sports Park is located at the top of Wangwang Mountain, and the construction content includes health trails and ancillary facilities. Among them, the newly built road is 238 1m, with a design width of 5m (including hard shoulder 1m and fitness greenway 4m), and the reconstructed road is 2,065m, with a design width of 5m (including pedestrian 1.5m, fitness greenway 3.5m and hard shoulder 0.5m).
Wangwang Mountain is located in the north of Bazhong City, with steep mountains and beautiful scenery. There are two theories about why it was named. The first one was named after Tang Taizi often climbed this mountain to overlook Chang 'an when he was demoted to Bazhou. It is also known as Wang Wangshan, meaning that the sixth son of Wu Zetian was named after returning to the DPRK because he hoped his mother would forgive him. The origin of Wang Wangshan's second name is closely related to Taoism and legends in China.
