Developing new energy vehicles is the general trend. In addition, the brand premium ability of new energy vehicles is insufficient, and the low residual rate of used cars is also an important factor that plagues the development of new energy vehicles. Compared with fuel vehicles, the audience of new energy vehicles is still narrow, and the low market share leads to the difficulty of product circulation. Coupled with the aging of the three major power systems, subsidy policies and product upgrades, the comprehensive preservation rate of three-year-old new energy vehicles is only 47.5%, and the entire industrial system still needs to be further improved.
In addition, the imperfect infrastructure construction such as charging will also greatly affect the convenience of using new energy vehicles. At present, the scale of basic charging facilities in China is not enough to support the popularization of new energy vehicles. Whether in big cities or second-and third-tier cities, there are problems such as unreasonable spatial distribution of charging infrastructure and inadequate maintenance of charging piles. In some areas, "fault piles" and "zombie piles" have appeared. To support the stable development of new energy vehicles, we must break the shackles of charging infrastructure.
Finally, affected by the COVID-19 epidemic, this made the car companies worse. The epidemic situation has disrupted the normal operation rhythm of the industry, and the production and sales of automobiles have been greatly impacted in a short time. In the long run, the "butterfly effect" of the epidemic will gradually appear, or it will affect the future global automobile industry pattern. Among them, the impact on new energy automobile enterprises will be more obvious, because the new energy automobile industry has just started, facing more problems, high cost, strong brand premium ability, lagging infrastructure construction and weak foundation of new energy automobile enterprises. In 2020, new energy automobile enterprises will face life and death, and China's new energy automobile industry will also face stagnation or retrogression.
