Is health certificate universal in China?

Health certificates are not common in China. The scope of application of health certificate depends on local laws, regulations and specific provisions. Health certificates are only valid in this province or region, but in other cases, they are only recognized in a certain industry or post, such as those who directly serve customers in public places, those who are engaged in food production and sales, and those who need to apply for health certificates in order to prevent and control epidemics. Such a health certificate is only used in this province or industry. Health certificate is a kind of preventive health examination certificate, which proves that the examinee has the health quality needed to engage in the specified industry. In China, according to the Food Safety Law, Regulations on Hygiene Management in Public Places and other laws and regulations, employees engaged in five major industries, such as food production and management, public service, cosmetics production, disposable medical and health care products production, toxic and harmful radioactive operations, and kindergartens, must hold health certificates.
