5. China's entry policy. Mainland's immigration policy
On June 28th, the National Health and Wellness Commission issued the Prevention and Control Plan of novel coronavirus (9th Edition). The notice shows that China has once again relaxed its policy of returning to China, which explicitly mentioned shortening the isolation time.
The main contents are as follows:
① The control time of close contacts and entry personnel was changed from "14 days of centralized isolation medical observation +7 days of home health monitoring" to "7 days of centralized isolation medical observation +3 days of home health monitoring".
② The measure of nucleic acid detection was changed from "centralized isolation medical observation on 1, 4, 7, 14, collecting nasopharyngeal swabs, and double collection and double examination for nucleic acid detection before isolation" to "centralized isolation medical observation on 1, 2, 3, 5 and 7, and collecting oropharyngeal swabs for nucleic acid detection on the third day of home health monitoring".
③ The control measures of close contact were changed from "7-day centralized isolation medical observation" to "7-day home isolation medical observation", and the nucleic acid was detected on 1, 4 and 7 days.
To sum up, China people only need 7 days of centralized isolation and 3 days of home isolation when they return to China, which will greatly reduce the isolation time and cost. This is good news for Chinese who have always wanted to return to China.
