Classification of liver diseases
Viral liver disease: it is an infectious disease caused by many different hepatitis viruses, which is what we usually call viral hepatitis A, B, C, D and E.
Non-viral liver disease: caused by bad living habits and other reasons, such as alcoholic hepatitis, fatty liver and drug-induced liver injury.
Treatment of liver disease
Western medicine: western medicine takes effect quickly, and silymarin is commonly used at present, which is mainly used to protect liver cells and promote liver cell renewal. However, the side effects are great, and patients will have reactions such as nausea and vomiting. Be sure to follow the doctor's advice when using.
Chinese medicine: Compared with western medicine, Chinese medicine is safer and has fewer side effects. Li Junxiang, director of the Department of Gastroenterology, Oriental Hospital, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, pointed out that Bupleurum chinense can soothe the liver and clear heat; Radix Isatidis has the functions of detoxification and improving immunity. The commonly used medicine, Sunflower Hugan Tablet, contains these ingredients, which are mainly used to treat fatty liver, alcoholic hepatitis, drug-induced liver injury, chronic hepatitis and early cirrhosis.
