(1) salt contains sodium and chlorine, which plays an important role in maintaining human metabolism, improving taste and stimulating appetite. Attention must be paid to adding salt to broiler feed, which is generally 0.3% ~ 0.5% on a dry matter basis. Don't overdo it when adding it, and stir it evenly to prevent salt poisoning.
(2) Bone meal Bone meal is rich in calcium and phosphorus, which is easily digested and absorbed by broilers. Bone meal is the best mineral supplement feed in the diet of growing broilers, and attention should be paid to prevent pollution when using it. Fresh bones should be sterilized at high temperature before crushing.
(3) Stone powder, namely limestone powder, is natural calcium carbonate, containing about 38% calcium, which is the simplest and cheapest mineral feed for laying hens. The dosage should be determined according to the actual content of calcium and the laying level of breeders. Generally, the additive amount in the diet of broiler breeders is 3% ~ 5%.
(4) Shell powder The powder made of fresh shells is a good calcium carbonate feed for broiler breeders, and the calcium content can reach 38.6%. Granular shell powder can not only supplement calcium deficiency, but also help muscles and stomach grind feed and improve feed digestibility. Generally, the additive amount in the diet of broiler breeders is 3% ~ 5%.
Mineral feed is generally not fed alone, but should be mixed evenly and used in feed, and pay attention to the dosage.
