How can we get rid of it?

Believing in Buddhism, learning from Buddhism and becoming a Buddha through liberation are not physical liberation, but spiritual and spiritual transcendence. Under any conditions and circumstances, there is no worry or pain. This is the practice of Buddhism and the meaning of believing in Buddhism. Emancipation means that there is no trouble or pain in any environment. This is liberation. Spirit transcends matter. Matter can't control your spirit, so it can't hurt you. If our spirit cannot transcend matter, material conditions will control the spirit.

People's needs include not only material food, but also spiritual food; Among many spiritual foods, Buddhism is the best spiritual food; A person who studies Buddhism can get many benefits; Now I want to put forward three simple meanings of learning Buddhism:

First, know life.

People have been busy for decades from birth to old age. Why are they busy? If money is necessary to solve the problem of life, then after solving the problem of food, clothing, housing and transportation, there should be no need to be busy, but he will still be busy, and some people will even be busier, because at this time, his life has further requirements. In order to satisfy higher desires, we have to pursue them desperately. However, "life is like picking flowers, flying south, flying north, flying west and flying east, and picking flowers into honey will be in vain." People who are busy all day are busy pursuing outward, and have never thought of studying these problems.

Buddhism is a kind of navigation in the vast sea of people. It teaches people how to live and die, points out the true meaning of life, makes people get inner satisfaction and happiness, and brings life from this side of trouble to the other side of happiness.

The emperor shunzhi, the first emperor of the Qing Dynasty in China, was very proficient in Buddhism. He envied the life of his family and wanted to become a monk. He once wrote an intriguing song: "Who was I before I was born?" Who was I when I was born? The song "When I grow up, I am the one who sleeps dimly" raises the question of where life comes from and where it dies. People who understand Buddhism, although emperors, will also seek to study the problems of life; People who don't understand Buddhism have been living in a muddle all their lives, coming and going in a muddle, and never think about it. This poem puts forward the whole process of a person's life, but the most important questions are life and death: "Who was I before I was born? Who was born? " "Who is sleeping?" This is a question of death-where to die? To answer these two questions, we must first understand a Buddhist term "karma".

"karma" is called karma in Indian Sanskrit and karma in Pali, which means behavior or creation. It turns out that after all our actions and actions, there will be a power lurking in our hearts. This power, which Buddhism calls karma, stays in our hearts and follows us closely, just as our shadows follow our bodies. This kind of karma can be divided into good karma and bad karma according to its nature. Good karma can determine a person's life, go to a good place to get comfortable enjoyment, bad karma can determine a person's life, and go to a bad place to get a bumpy experience.

So where does life come from and where does it go to die? Simply put, human life comes from karma, and death is accompanied by karma.

Buddhism shows the results of good and evil. There are six divisions in the wheel of karma, and the six paths are: Heaven, Humanity, Asura, Hell, Hungry Ghost and Beast. Heaven, humanity and Asura are called three good ways, which are places for people who do good; hell, hungry ghosts and animals are called three evil ways, which are places for people who do bad things.

When we understand these truths, we can realize how precious life is, because man is one of the three good ways. Where does life come from? There is no doubt that students come from good deeds, so where to go when they die? It depends on your present performance. If you can do all kinds of evil and do all kinds of good, then you will be promoted not only to human beings, but also to heaven. If you can further practice liberation according to the instructions of Buddhism, you can transcend the six divisions in the wheel of karma, get rid of life and death, and become a comfortable saint. If what you are doing now is mostly evil, harming others and benefiting themselves, then the three evil ways are of course involved, so after understanding these truths. Which road you choose, you are sure, and the future of your life can be decided by yourself.

Second, purify life.

Because of the prosperity of modern science and advanced technology, factories are set up everywhere, which causes air pollution and affects human health, which is known to people with little scientific knowledge; However, human inner troubles are polluted. It seriously affects the peace of human mind all the time, but few people who don't learn Buddhism know it. In the Ming Dynasty, there was a philosopher, Mr. Wang Mingyang. Because his Neo-Confucianism was explored from Buddhism, he knew that troubles seriously affected and controlled people's minds. So he said, "The thief in the mountain is easy to cure, but the thief in the heart is hard to prevent." Trouble is described as a thief, which just shows the seriousness of trouble; In fact, the reason why our hearts can't be peaceful is because troubles disturb people and cause trouble; Our actions are against the truth, and truth is also driven and spurred by troubles.

According to the Buddhist scriptures, "Buddha says that all kinds of hearts can be cured by various methods", and the heart refers to the troubles in our hearts.

A life full of troubles is polluted, flawed, painful and unsatisfactory, so it must be reformed. But how to transform it? Is to purify it. When we learn Buddhism, we bathe in Buddhism and wash away the filth in our hearts with the Buddha's dharma water. When our inner troubles are removed, then our polluted, defective, painful and unsatisfactory life can be transformed into a clean, complete, happy and ideal life.

Once upon a time, there was a king in Casaro. He was called the King of Persia. One day, when the king of Persia was on patrol, he met an old man with gray hair on the road and could see that he was very old. The king asked him, "Old man, how old are you?" The husband replied without thinking, "Four years old." The Persian king was surprised; He hardly believed his ears, so he held out his right hand and raised four fingers to ask the old man, "You are only four years old! ? "The old man nodded and confirmed with certainty:" Yes, I am only four years old this year. " Knowing that the king must be puzzled, the old man explained to him, "I didn't know Buddhism before and lived for decades." My thoughts and actions are controlled by my inner troubles, and I have done many things that I think are right but actually wrong; Four years ago, I had the opportunity to listen to Buddhism, and then I learned about life, converted to Buddhism, practiced the principles taught by the Buddha, and purified my life according to Buddhist life. In the last four years, I have been a real person, so I am only four years old this year. " The king was very moved by the old man's words! Nodded and praised: "You are right, old man. A person can only become a real person if he can learn Buddhism and follow it. "

Third, a solemn life.

Solemnity is a word used by Buddhism to describe beauty. A solemn life can also be said to beautify life. Generally speaking, beauty can be divided into formal beauty and internal beauty. Physical beauty belongs to appearance, while inner beauty refers to human virtue. It is still flawed to have external beauty without internal virtue, which is not complete beauty. Therefore, in addition to the physical beauty of appearance, life should also enrich the inner beauty of virtue; Both inside and outside are beautiful, which is a solemn life; And a solemn life is a happy, happy and perfect life.

Buddhism is a moral and practical religion. People who study Buddhism must practice the moral behaviors of the five precepts, ten virtues, four strokes and six strokes taught by the Buddha, so as to cultivate and enrich their inner virtue and lead a solemn life.

Once upon a time, a philanthropist married a very beautiful jade girl. Daughter-in-law is proud of her beautiful appearance and despises her in-laws and family.

One day, a philanthropist invited the Buddha home to teach his daughter-in-law. The daughter-in-law deliberately avoided. Later, out of curiosity, she peeked at the Buddha statue through the crack of the door. She saw the solemn virtue of the Buddha, which is really more beautiful than her! So he came out automatically and bowed down to the Buddha.

The Buddha said, "Yu Ye, you have a beautiful face, so much the better if you have a correct heart. You know, a beautiful appearance is just a beautiful appearance, and a correct attitude is the inner beauty. A real beauty must be inner beauty and outer beauty! "

Yu Ye listened to the Buddha's revelation, and her pride was removed. Converting to Buddhism and practicing five precepts and ten good deeds in Buddhism enrich her inner moral beauty. She follows the teachings and is determined to be a real beauty with inner beauty and outer beauty.

Buddhism guides, inspires and inspires life; In addition to understanding life, purifying life and solemn life, learning Buddhism can also transform a defective life into a happy life; From a dream life to an awakened life, from a life of life and death to a life of liberation; From secular life to divine wisdom life; In short, the significance of learning Buddhism is endless.
