Passengers who do not live in Shenzhen area shall provide valid rabies vaccination certificate issued by the supervising department for animal epidemic prevention of the local government and animal health certificate issued by the local entry-exit inspection and quarantine institution, declare to the inspection and quarantine institution at the exit port, carry out verification and on-site quarantine, and be allowed to leave the country if they are qualified; Those who have not been verified or failed in on-site quarantine shall not leave the country. Scope of application: only applicable to passengers with household registration or temporary residence who bring dogs and cats as companions into the country within the jurisdiction of Shenzhen. Each person is limited to one at a time. Passengers who enter through Shenzhen port but live outside the jurisdiction of Shenzhen must also provide the temporary quarantine certificate issued by the inspection and quarantine institution of their place of residence before they can go through the formalities of declaration for the entry of companion animals. 2. Entry declaration When passengers bring their companion animals into the country, they should report to the inspection and quarantine institution at the port of entry and provide the following materials: (1) The original animal health (hygiene) certificate issued by the official of the exporting country or region; (2) The valid rabies vaccination certificate issued by the official of the exporting country or region or its authorized institution (original); (three) the legal residence address, relevant certificates and contact information of the inbound passengers within the jurisdiction of Shenzhen; (4) Certificate of temporary isolation of entry animals issued by the inspection and quarantine institution of the entry passenger's residence (only for passengers whose residence is not in the jurisdiction of Shenzhen). After passing the on-site clinical examination, passengers should bring their companion animals to their places of residence within the jurisdiction of Shenzhen for a period of 30 days. During the period of isolation, companion animals shall not contact with other animals (especially companion animals). The local inspection and quarantine institution will send personnel to the passenger's residence for clinical examination from time to time. Upon the expiration of the quarantine period and passing the inspection, the inspection and quarantine institution shall issue the Entry Inspection and Quarantine Certificate for release.
