Article 5
The health administrative department of the State Council is responsible for the supervision and management of medical institutions throughout the country. The health administrative department of the local people's government at or above the county level shall be responsible for the supervision and management of medical institutions within their respective administrative areas. The competent health department of China People's Liberation Army shall supervise and manage military medical institutions in accordance with these regulations and relevant state regulations.
