Why didn't God cure me?

First, does Almighty God act according to your beliefs? This "someone in the church" has such a strong tone that it is nonsense to try to dictate the way God acts. The yamen in China will say to you: "Bold!" You have to say "no, my Lord, forgive me." Otherwise your head will really move.

Second, "If you have enough confidence", what is "enough confidence"? how much is it? 80%? 90%? 99%? 100%?

Third, the "faith healer" (faith healer, imperial doctor) who wants people to be cured by faith is the most irresponsible liar. He said: "if you have confidence, you will be cured, but you can't be cured because you have no confidence." The responsibility lies with you, not with me. "

Fourth, "God can heal all diseases", which is what Jesus did when he was alive:

Matt 8: 16 In the evening, people came to Jesus with many people who were possessed with demons. He banished all the demons and cured all the patients in one sentence. "cured all the patients." But I didn't say it because they were "confident enough". The above questions are groundless. Now let's look at faith and medicine in the Bible:

1. God didn't cure everyone-Paul didn't pull out his thorn, Timothy had a gastric ulcer (his appetite was unclear), Trophimo was ill, and Ibafuti was ill. He was really ill and almost died (please look up the scriptures yourself). Being sick is not a bad thing. Everyone is a patient.

2. Of the thirty-five miracles performed by Jesus, twenty-three were related to healing and three were the resurrection of the dead. Among them, Lazarus who died of illness was cured by Jesus. Even if he rose from the dead, was Lazarus cured because of "sufficient faith"? Can the dead still use faith? "Confidence" here has nothing to do with "medical care". The other was born blind, and Jesus cured him, but he didn't know who Jesus was and later believed in Jesus. He was healed not because of "sufficient faith", but because of the power and grace of God. After thirty-eight years of illness, the patient by the pool in Bethesda, the one who was cured, didn't know who (Jesus) was. Healing has nothing to do with confidence. There are many such examples, so I won't list them one by one. Please read the miracle that Jesus did.

3. Some healing is due to the confidence of others: the servant of the centurion is healed because of the confidence of the centurion. The Canaanite woman's faith healed her daughter. The son of the priest Capernaum was cured by his father's letter. The paralytic carried by four people took the mattress and left because of a letter from a friend.

4. Some people are cured because they believe: a woman with blood leakage and two blind people.

Summing up twenty-six miracles related to illness or death, we can see that two are related to our own confidence, four are related to the confidence of others, and twenty are silent about confidence.

6. From what we have seen above, we can sum up as follows:

A. The sovereignty of healing lies with God, who can use the confidence of others, or not, or use the confidence of others. But in any case, this is not the credit of man, but the mercy and grace of God.

B. "If you have enough faith, God will heal" has no biblical basis.

C, the four cases were cured because of the trust of others. Today, "faith healers" who advocate "faith healing" pray for patients with their beliefs (they claim to be faith healing). As the Bible says, there is no patient's faith. When Jesus sees the faith of the "faith healer", he will say to the patient, "You are well." However, it is completely irresponsible for today's "faith doctors" to say that patients have no confidence because they can't cure the disease.

D. In those days when Jesus was in the world, he traveled all over the cities and villages, preaching, teaching, curing diseases and exorcising ghosts. But he didn't treat all the patients living in Palestine. God allowed this disease to exist today. Because this is a broken world. But we saw a man with only one leg dancing a wonderful ballet, and I have two healthy legs, but I can't move an inch. Some people only have three fingers, but they play the piano very well. I have ten fingers, but I can't help it. Some people are quadriplegic, but they draw touching and wonderful paintings with their mouths instead of their hands. I have developed limbs and draw cows like dogs. What's more, there are many great achievements made by endless disabled people. God won't cure everyone, this is his sovereignty. We don't want to be sick or disabled, but if God allows us, wouldn't it be more glorious to strive for self-improvement in adversity and turn disability into strength?

E. God's healing methods are also different: Jesus and dirt are put on people's eyes, and some people touch them. Sometimes they just say a word, and sometimes they tell people to do one thing: show it to the priest, and it will be fine. God also uses many methods to heal today; For example: diet, environment, medicine, sunshine, exercise, sleep, rest, God heals himself, and then resurrects-there will be no more diseases, and the decadent body will become a glorious body.
