What is body composition? What does it have to do with human health?

The human body is composed of water, protein, fat and inorganic salts in a certain proportion. The water in human body is bounded by cell membrane and exists inside and outside the cell, and its content changes and adjusts within a certain range. Protein, together with water, mainly constitutes the muscle layer, which is distributed in limbs, internal organs and various parts of the human body. Non-fat components refer to all components of the body except fat, that is, the total value of muscle mass and bones. Human fat exists in subcutaneous and abdominal organs, and it releases energy needed for normal physiological activities after decomposition. But if there is too much fat, it will accumulate in the body, leading to obesity. Healthy people keep a certain proportion of fat, on the contrary, poor health may lead to imbalance of body composition, such as obesity, nutritional deficiency, edema, osteoporosis and so on.
