What is the reason why IVF in Thailand takes fewer eggs?

July Health will be happy to answer your questions.

Reason 1: Ovarian function declines. Generally speaking, the older the Thai IVF, the worse the ovarian function and the fewer eggs that can ovulate. Some infertile friends are still young, but their ovarian function has declined. Ovulation 1-2 eggs is not easy. The decline of ovarian function is initially manifested as the shortening of menstrual cycle, followed by irregular menstruation. If you want to advance your menstruation by 4-5 days or a week every time, then I suggest you go to the hospital to check your hormone level and see if your ovarian function has declined.

In addition, after the age of over 40, the ovarian function decreased obviously, and the success rate of IVF also decreased accordingly. Therefore, it is necessary to make test tubes as soon as possible, and don't wait until the ovarian function is almost exhausted before implementing pregnancy assistance.

Reason 2: Egg retrieval time, Thai IVF generally takes eggs 35-36 hours after "night needle". "Night needle" is the last needle after ovulation induction and before taking eggs. Because this kind of injection is usually arranged by doctors at night, we commonly call it "night needle". The egg is wrapped by cumulus cells and adheres to the follicular wall. The function of "night needle" is to promote the maturation of eggs, make cumulus cells loose, and make eggs fall off the follicular wall easily, so that we can get eggs more easily.

Reason 3: follicular quality

Not all follicles monitored by B-ultrasound have eggs, and some patients with irregular follicle shape or poor hormone level may even have many follicles that are empty.

Reason 4: Loss during egg retrieval.

If you have obesity, high ovarian position and severe abdominal breathing when you are doing IVF in Thailand, it will lead to unclear follicular development under B-ultrasound, or the follicles will move with breathing, leading to an increase in egg retrieval loss.
